How can you say that? Look at my account. I've played in every league since onslaught and in general since the day open beta started. The only times I enjoy self found is when a new league starts and that's because of the fresh and new things counter how annoying self found is. Especially since everything is balanced around the ability to trade, which means drop rates suck for sf.

Not to mention that making it a race and self found just boxes people into pretty much one thing - Flameblast prolif. Yeah, so much fun.

What about demigod's, or any other prize that is not related to the beta? I understand the beta is important to GGG right now, but for people who genuinely do not care as much about it, it gets tiring to be treated like a second-class citizen when I don't think of myself that way. Can we have the events be treated like real races, and not something that's a prelude for the "real" game which is in actuality a beta?

And if there's going to be multiple events, can the announcements stop being three days in advance? Most of us have lives, I need to look at my schedule and decide when to make time for events and which ones I want to enter.

I don't understand why someone who has access to The Awakening would spend five days grinding 1.3.1 to try to win something they already have!

To answer the question, though, if you already have access and win access again then nothing happens and it just wastes a beta slot. This is unlikely to occur and I'll try to spot it happening so that I can give the key out some other way.

What if that person got really really unlucky, was top 35 before the event ended, and then 10 mins before the end of the race, won the opt in beta timer key and got in that way. Is that possible? And what would you guys do to make it up to him / her if it did? :P My guess would be to spam that PJSalt emote that people spam in Twitch chat.

Probably you are just trolling, to hit lvl 70, if you know the basic of the game, it will takes around 15h.

while i agree hitting 70 may not be hard but it still doesnt guarantee a key.
they have handled this so poorly and have alienated a huge amount of their playerbase. a lot would have rather seen a 4 month with race events during it that had beta key prizes(make it where once a account has the beta access it goes to the next highest this will mean that beta spots dont just disapear becase of same 50 people being in top 50).

then we go on to supporter packs the fact that the $1000 packs didnt get instant access was a poor decisison they should have give those packs priority then have it funnel down eventually to each pack getting a guarenteed beta access even if it meant say the $40 packs getting it on week 2 of beta it would still calm down a lot of people as they know they then have guaranteed access eventually.

you could then use the 5 minute timer to give keys to the free players who have yet to spend any money.

now this is just my 2 cents and how i feel it could have been handled better but ahh well i will continue to wait patently to get access but as for a 5 day self found i think i will pass as there is nothing to it to interest me past the self found aspect as pretty much anything would have made it less bland heck a turbo self found solo 5 day would have been interesting.

Can we get another mtx effect instead of keys? :(

there is the timer, you know? also lvl 70 in 5 days is a joke. just play 3 hours each evening and you are done ;)
