Instructions for How to setup a loot filter
I solved it. You need to change the properties of what you see in explorer. In default you don't see extensions. So itemfilter.filter is actually itemfilter.filter.txt but you don't see that bu default.

This is a link to NeverSinks loot filter it's a very in depth filter http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1235695
also if you are having problems with your file try these steps go to containing folder choose organize choose folder and search option's choose View uncheck hide extension's of known file types click ok right click xyz.filter file you created choose rename and remove the .txt from that file it should now look like a sheet of paper it will ask what to open it with next time you try. choose notepad you should now see the reload option in game and can now load your custom filter i hope this helps answer any question's not previously answered on this thread if anyone actually makes it to page 5 Nitro |

" To prevent issues like this in the future note that if you save a file as "name.filter" INCLUDING the quotes it will force the extension to be .filter regardless of hidden extensions or not. You expect me to act as something I'm not? I picked this name for a reason.

I can't get Loot Filters too work, I've tried with multiple filters, all which should work fine, every time I get Item Filter Loaded Successfully and every time nothing is changed. I used regular Windows 7 Notepad to copy paste it in and obviously properly created a FILTER file since the game recognizes the file and loads it. I've also made sure it's in the correct folder along with awakeningbeta_config
Anyone know what could be the problem? EDIT: FIXED Problem is due to non-standard characters in Username/ "C:\Users\USERNAME\etc pathing Follow these steps to change your pathing name if you can't wait until they fix it, but be warned that if you make a mistake you may fuck up your windows entirely. It is not possible, and no it should not be added.
Being able to filter by a specific quality is kinda stretching the moral limit of what this script is for; being able to filter by implicit value feels like cheating, and will be used as such by racers. A comprehensive, easy on the eyes loot filter:
