edit : could you imagine how great it would be if the forum actually recognized shortcuts for gems and linked them to a page explaining the gem? o.O that would be awesome.

Duuuuude...I would almost pay for that functionality.

Almost...

Your all missing the point that this is obvious for US, people that play this game for a long time and have the experience to back that up.

For new players that might try out PoE at 2.0 release, this thread might prove valuable.

Good job Ama, carry on.

Peace,

No one in PoE gives a shit about new players... we are anti-streamers and tells people old and new to suck it up and play diablo 3... welcome to poe.
The real hardcore PoE players and the elites sit in town and zoning in and out of their hideouts trading items. Noobs that don't know how to play PoE correctly, kill monsters for items. It's pure fact, it will never change.

Welcome to PoE.

"The catch with this Support Gem is that you cannot apply a bleed directly with the supported skill,..."

At first I thought bloodlust might work with "Cause bleeding on hit" mod since it's not a skill gem. Anyway thanks for the clarification. I suppose it makes sense now.
Just seems like a lot of busywork for scant gain.

If they want us to use more active damage skills, they should create an ability system where active damage skills are not in direct competition with replacing passive force multipliers. The auras, minions, shouts, cosplay outfits, pokemon balls, whatever else you're sacrificing the socket for; it's just more efficient and more damage to use Added Fire Damage if you're not in a party with a bleeder.

actually no, a good flicker strike faster attack melee splash fortify allows to move around on spreaded targets, then you can just cyclone your way into the pack. You know, hold cyclone, hold flicker, leave flicker, reclick flicker. GG you are a telecyclone bot.

Leap splam is probably less efficient, slower.
I will never be good but always I try to improve.
Sorry for the grave digging but, i have a question about this same topic.

Let's say i have a 6 link for cyclone in my chestpiece with blood lust and a completely different setup in my Atziri.

Since the cyclone+blood lust is not in the Atziri, will it cause bleeding when i attack with cyclone ?

Any skill that has blood lust attached to it is unable to cause bleeding.

Atziri disfavour gives "global bleeding on attacks" (it is not restricted to the weapon/skills in the weapon, just to attacks your characters is dealing)

So no, if you link bloodlust, it disables the global bleeding on attacks.(since the skill linked with it becomes unable to cause bleeding)

Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
Understood, thanks Boem
