" Continued discussion on rares and the visual vocabulary. First, the vocabulary is inconsistent. Often, brighter is better but for rares darker (font) is better and darker (background) is worse. It would be more consistent if brighter was always better. I also find it hard to distinguish the semi-transparent black from the black background. One minor point is that a number of 2x2 items do not have the White outline. This mainly happens with EV and EV/ES shields. Next, I still have to do a lot of thinking based on how items are highlighted. Only the top two tiers (at most) are green background. Let's look at EV/AR boots. If I look at boots selling for more than 50C, I find Serpentscale, Hydrascale, Wyrmscale, Two-Toned and Dragonscale. How many of those drop green? One or two? So the rest drop black background. Guess what else drops black background? Bronzescale. Level 30 boots look the same as boots that may sell for 50C. This applies to all items and not just boots. I feel the filter is not helping me when it comes to rares. Please consider this feedback and better distinguish possible high value items from items that are primarily for chaos formula vendoring. |

" You gotta be more specific. What kind of 20% quality items? " - The brighter green is the T1 color. Always. - The darker green is T2 - I'll take a look at the missing white outlines. The highlight is intended to work that way. Any pair of boots can be fairly valuable, because they all roll the same mods (assuming the same subclass). In fact any rare can be fairly valuable, if you're lucky - that being said that top end basetypes are more expensive and they have an easier time reaching the threshhold. You may also find a 2H lvl 50 sword with 220IPDSP and flaring mod and attack speed and that'll be worth more than a mirror. Yet, if your build is fast and you've prepared your atlas, you usually don't wanna pick up more than 1 inventory of items/map for the optimal gameflow. Most experienced players want even less. To minmax this process it's most efficient to pick up powerful meta rares and the top tier basetypes. The filter is designed to assist the player in this process - to maximize rotation efficiency and speed/experience gain, WHILE picking up the items with the highest chance to be a winner. This also means you'll receive more chances to score massive wins and will also get more pure currency. Digging through level 30 boots that may end up being good would be highly counterproductive here. Please don't PM me ingame with filter/guide questions, post them on the forum, after reading the FAQ. " The way this comes across to me is "play meta speed clear and only pick up tier 1s". If you want any other info from a filter (or want to play any other style) you need to find a different filter. You already have "strict versions" but the reality is that they are all strict. Again, you are over simplifying. Only wraith swords and above are selling for more than 50C and have more than 400 DPS. You will NOT find a level 50 2H worth picking up (or you'd have to pick up a ton before you do). I'm asking for a bit more guidance for when you didn't fill your inventory and you're looking for a few items to fill your bags. For now, I need to know all the tiers myself. Instead, you could easily do some quick DPS/Defense combined with "sells for more than 50C" and come up with a good second tier. Instead, it's first tier or figure it out yourself. |

Hello,
(Didn't see any Filterblade-specific thread, sorry if there's one and this post doesn't fit here) I like the new sound for the high tier maps, however do you think it could be possible to change the definition of the map tiers with FilterBlade ? For instance I'd rather not have T11 maps drop with the same sound as T14 maps, because after some level T11s aren't exactly big drops anymore. For now I did it with Notepad++ but I think it would be nice if Filterblade allowed people to customize the map tiers. Thanks Last edited by Wendek#4427 on Sep 16, 2017, 8:11:17 AM

Neversink!
Please, fix your lootfilers, so that wont show useless crap like this: Only non-corrupted items can be used for chisel recipe, corrupted CANT. I've fixed it myself, adding a check for non-corrption for them, but i dont want to do it again every time your lootfilter gets updated. IGN: MortalKombat

Hi Neversink. I've used Filterblade to customize the strict filter a lot, but I can't seem to find the function for a change I'd like to make. I want to hide specific rare bases, like Studded Belt and Cloth Belt because I don't bother picking those up while mapping.
Thanks |

Hi all, I don't want to miss out on any RGB items, some of them are hidden at the moment (probably low level ones), I'm using Strict at level 90. Should I use Regular or is there something else I can do about this?

On Strict, medium (like body armors) and large (like 2-handed axes) RGB items are hidden. You can use http://www.filterblade.xyz/ to create a custom version of the Strict filter that still shows those items. Personally I'm using an Uber-strict based filter for endgame but I still show small RGB items for instance.
