One thing I noticed: this version still for some reason has tier 2.2 (Leather belt) chancing base enabled with 1 and 2.1 disabled (strict). Is it intended?

Yes. There's no tier 1 chancing base right now. Something so valuable, universally powerful and "comfortable" to chance - that it's even worth playing a sound for it.

Agreed, but still, why is Leather belt enabled, but Sorcerer boots, Close helm etc are disabled by default? Isn't leather belt a (slightly) worse chancing base?

I'd say yes. My experience however is that more people using strict filters are still collecting the leather belts, than chancing normal items. Still: with filterblade in existence, I might as well change it to disable the leather belts earlier.

FilterBlade wont let me sort Eternal flasks, i want to only show magic ones not normal ones, i can only hide/disable all of them no option for magic/normal.

Keep up the awesome work guys FilterBlade and your filter is amazing, i love the Loot simulator so easy to sort out exactly what you want.


edit: this is not only about the eternal flasks, it seems to effect ALL flasks, i cant be the only one who just wants to see magic flasks and not normal ones?

i know i can go in and edit this myself in the file but that will break the use of filterblade if i want to change things in the future.

Just edit those two lines by hand in your .filter file (replace "One Hand Maces" with "One Hand Axes"). It will then show all rare axes again, as intended. NeverSink knows about it already and will soon fix it.

Bug only affects 1H axes with both itemlevel > 64 and droplevel < 57.


Fixed in 5.1.2

Thanks, I appreciate your response. Basically, all I want is 5> quality chisels to show, in order to save a whetstone every time I do the recipe. I would not want to see magic chisels unless they are 20% already.



Would it perhaps be possible to add another category, being 5 and up for normal hammers and 17 and up for magic. That would do the trick for my desire to use 3 whetstones per go.

Just dropping some feedback, I hope it helps.

  • "Currency, Uniques & Divination Cards" don't need to be lumped together. Those three sections would perfectly be fine as top level section under "General". It requires only minimal more space, but removes the triple nesting.
  • Same is true for the "Socketgroups and Links". Less obscure nesting helps very much imo.
  • You especially mention that "Chancing Bases" is very controversial. Despite that it's still enabled by default for the strict version. Wouldn't it make sense to move this section to "Optional Filter Modules" and disable it everywhere by default? The documentation for that section does not really help either. Why are Leather Belts and selected armour pieces good bases? Why are the Tiers called 2.1/2.2 by rather than 2.0/2.5 or 2/3?

I'm not sure whether this was asked, but shouldn't Leather Belt unique (HH) be at least in the 'multi-unique bases' section? If someone turns off the 'all other uniques', they might miss one of the most expensive uniques in the game, unless I'm missing something.
I disabled almost all things for gear except uniq but sometimes I see any white and magic items. can someone help me?

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but the normal version is not showing rare Wraith Axes. I know these are not optimal, but I just looted one that does well over 400 dps. I spotted it by chance when glancing over the remaining unfiltered loot. This would sell for quite a bit with all the axe sunder builds.

Edit: Just read back a page and see that it was mentioned. There was also a lower level one-handed rare axe (can't recall the name) not showing, but I guess that's part of the same bug.

I was using 5.0 loot filter and it was cool that transmutation shard got small text window now on 5.1.2 it's way too huge :/
