The Awakening Update: Act Four

TBH, I find the exile character's presumed transformation a little unconvincing. "You were a mere selfish exile once --" I still am. I'm not going to Highgate to save the world, I'm doing it for the power. All the power, in fact. Even the whole flavor of the socketed passive tree supports this -- it's about slowly becoming a Gemling, not the good people of Wraeclast showering you with bling.
Have you made a cool build using The Coming Calamity? Let me know!

No act 5?

Could be so. Unless Act 4 does well enough in popularity and revenue to pave the way for a fifth one I suppose.

This is the culmination of a grand epic story line that is a major part of Wraeclast's history. The one final struggle with the Beast, where he either wrecks havoc on the world, or you become a savior.

To suggest that no other maleficent forces exist or could ever rise to power would be an understatement...

Yet still, "The Beast's Awakening is not gentle. The very core of Wraeclast trembles with the violence of its stirring. Its raw malevolence sends ripples of corruption coursing through the world." And, "The creature grows stronger by the day."

So get out your swords... Its time to put on your big boy pants.

So Templars are excluded? Is that what you are saying!? Damned classist!
I'm waiting for a badass plot twist at the end (a lovecraftian one, ;) ). Surprise us, GGG.

age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
Great work on the comics and really bringing out the lore of wraeclast. Im a huge fan of lore in books and games and believe its half the enjoyment for most. Having such important character bosses and having all the information on your new page will help a ton to get into the story and history of your theme, much appreciated.

Path of Exile; A world where you are free from pay to win. Unlimited builds, vast enemy mods and a strong end game. Unrivaled community in real life and rewarding developers.
Path of exile is one of the best ARPGS created/ Died 25 times to 1 boss in Path of Exile and would rip again.
I have a feeling I know with What Doryani was forging Communion with on behalf of the Vaal people.

Though this raisese many more questions for me. If Kaom did end up in Doryani's Cradle, the mines for virtue gems, How so? Shavronne left Brutus and the Thaumatergy barrier, and Hyrri took the Karui and left for their homeland.

If Highgate is to the north, how did Kaom get from the coast to there?

The Karui seem to be a seafaring nation so maybe by following the river and waterways inland from the coast? On the map, it looks like there is a river delta behind the Coves. So, Coves --> Lake Constance --> Sarn at least. And then following the aquaduct to Highgate. That would be my guess for a way in general. As for Kaom himself - who knows in what state or form he made it from Merveil's Cave.
