Yep! There's a few ways you can go about this: grab either Filtration or Loot Wizard, open the filter, and uncheck the "Gear" box. Or, using a text editor, Find all instances of "Show #Gear" and replace with "Hide #Gear". (three spaces between Show and Gear, and no quotes)

Doing so will hide all white/blue gear that is not a chisel hammer, or whatever you define in chance items.

Its one of those things that I can't easily design around- the second step in that process would just be to change all instances of "Hide #Flasks - Quality" to "Show #Flasks - Quality".
