I think the golden set looks awesome... it just doesn't fit very well into PoE 'dark world'.

I would argue that it isnt really supposed to fit in with the grit and darkness. Wearing those effects would be for those who want their character to be dressed like a holy beacon of heavenly wrath wreaking holy havoc upon the unholy darkness and doing all that is possible to NOT fit in.

And it does look pretty badass but....

I will say that id probably get sick of having to wear sunglasses while playing and just take off those effects after a bit only to put them back on when visiting town or playing with a noob :P
