Oh, that is simple. YOU CAN'T COUNTER TEMPEST SHIELD. Welcome to the halls of misery and brainless builds.

srsly, what we have atm:
1) Traps
2) Detonate Dead

Traps is just bad vs any ES based enemy (remember about 2 sec es recharge cd?)
Desecrate + dd base cast speed is 1 + 0.8 sec. its not comparable to 0.65 sec FP.
Any minions will die instantly even if TS user has 25% block chance only.
EA and PA builds easily countered by self cast frostwall and zealoth oath.
BCR gem is useless coz TS still can block 3-6 times in a row and that mean you will be dead no matter how much hp or spell dodge your build have.

EA was a counter to pre 1.3 aegis aurora, it has no chance vs low life TS, same as any fast attack-based build.

Traps definitely, at least it not useless vs non TS enemy as DD build is.
