How to fix stun threshold/duration?

Many people are suggesting nerfing stun. Other people say immune to stun is a good enough solution. What about buffing the affects of stun recovery? Before pvp balance in 1.0 and later, stun recovery use to be amazing. I read somewhere past 1.0 they adjusted it somewhat. Either damage is too high now since we dont have as much mitigation through block and dodge, or block stun recovery was nerfed in the adjustment, or a combination. The introduction of craghead quiver didnt help. I think its pretty crazy people are gettin stun locked by just about anything. With craghead people get perma stunlocked vs rain of arrows. Arc is even stunning lol. Slap a stun gem on anything and it gets quite a bit worse.

I know with heart of the oak from ranger skill tree and combo'ed with leos chance to avoid stun, and high ES/dodge/block your can avoid quite a bit of stunning. I think a cool option to entertain and fix stun would be, making stun recovery actually valuable like it use to be : )

For now every single skill can stun most even without stun gem. Even incinerator build i play 1M HC could stun which is kinda hilarious considering mechanics of this skill(many small hits).
Arcers could permastun pretty much 90% of white groups without single 1% of stun threshold.
And bosses in pve should be possible to stun ONLY with bulids dedicated for stunning.
Other thing is amount of desync stuns created.

I wont be suprised that much if permastun incinerate in lld is possible now(ofc not 1,5k life builds but some mid tier guys without any stun avoidance mechanic).

Imo stun threshold should go -20% or -30% in both pvp and pve.
Also stun recovery could work as some kind of solution in pvp but i feel its overall problem of game not only pvp.

Better way to fix the stun issue is to allow people to gear against being stunned with stun recovery. So the people who actively care about avoiding the stun and wise up to its affects are being rewarded. It would create a cool meta.

I sincerely think stun has enough counters already.. I haven't had to use chayula on my melee chars after the stun mod for helms was introduced. Acro+helm is very close to stun immunity already

still should buff stun recovery regardless so classes other that dont get acro have a way to deal with it other than chayulla or unwavering stance.

hegy's bow char that was in the last temp leagues was pretty close to stun immune without actually being stun immune. A bit of es for stun avoiding on first hit and acro + evasion + leo mod and he could choose to disengage any time you got close to him.

sucks for non ranger/shadows though but we all know that shadow is op

ya so stun recovery would essentially not help their case anymore since they are "stun immune" which means instead of nerfing stun, buffing stun recovery causes other classes without acrobatics less prone to stun. The answer isnt nerfing stun but buffing stun recovery. Most of what everyone has said has just further solidified my point.

I would be happy if stun get good nerf, make it available for certain build with proper stun nodes


even i have around 5.7k health and 30% stun avoidance I still got the stun lock from arc dmg linked to stun gem


the only solution against stun is this

35% leo mod/ 30% that ranger node /a bit of evasion/dodge/block / small es pool for 50% reduction on first hit etc etc


there are many ways to get decently stun immune without using that amulet
