Please require lvl 28 for events

I got a lvl 1 Witch twice this last US No Party 3v3 Blitz. I'll refrain from posting the username. Just a total troll, please require lvl 28 for competitive events.

how is that different from getting a premade in your team during the first rounds before you pull up?

Are you equating a premade to a lvl 1 char?

This sucks in swiss too, getting a low level opponent is basically fucked up resists and could play a huge role in how you place at the end.

A free win though, can't complain?

I mean I've seen some 26s and 27s, and to exclude those wouldn't be nice, theyre are just leveling and maybe felt trying an event

Yeah but we should have some measures to reduce this trolling. Maybe if you aren't using a PvP-only character, you have to reach Act 3 Normal and talk to Leo on that specific character in order to participate in events.

These arent trolls mainly. They just want to be carried for wanderlusts.

although after the first 10 loses you get to a point where witch can perma freeze some other chars with ice spear ;P

I think the best solution (not really for 3v3 no-party, but the more competitive events) is to exclude the first round from factoring into resistance.

This might negatively affect you if you run into someone like Farblar or Brain in round 1, and would have ended up with slightly higher resistance because of it, but you still have a chance to beat them and pull ahead through points.

On the other hand, you have a much higher chance of facing a premade, new PVPer, or a character lower than level 28 in the first round -- even if you go on to do very well in the event you will always be at the bottom of your point bracket.
