Even with top gear it does pretty shit damage vs decent chaos resistance+regen. Possibly intruduce a way to penetrate chaos resistance, maybe on the skill itself or on vulnerability? It should not be as high as the elemental penetration supports, but maybe more like 20% chaos penetration, and even then it would not compete among the top.

chaos penetration shouldn't be the answer as it will kill ci builds outright. Right now they are 100% resistant to chaos but with chaos penetration the slightest amount will kill them.

I have a 5.5k (lvl 25 pa. On sc it can get to 28) dot poison arrow char that can defeat some of the higher ranked people (that havent capped chaos res) on the sc-hc ladder during the first round. After that they do a couple of swaps and some I cant even damage through their life regen. I agree that it is strong if people are not prepared for it but getting enough chaos resistance almost completely shuts down the build as long as you have a gap closer.

also there is ci, in which case you either need a bow swap with a different ability or at best can draw out 9 rounds for a draw :/


@TheProffesor There are no poison arrow characters in the top of the ladder for a reason.

It should not affect CI by any means though.
I got a level 28 PA and it does good dmg vs noobs, but anyone that isnt pure shit that knows how to counter will have an easy time

High level?

9 out of 10 people demonstrate little to no actual skill.
Can stand there with auto attacks i.e Tempest shield, Molten shell, Cwdt/Cws + critical damage and 50%-100% your life bar without a clue.
Melee is not the strongest build in its own range.
Melee vs shotgun damage vs the above ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

You have guys that do 0 damage and focused their entire efforts on running in circles around crap in the arenas, regenerating life/es and drawing matches. Knowing they 1)will get rewarded points 2)you as their higher ranked opponent will lose them 3)they are trolling 4)think you're a loser too that appreciates wasting a few minutes of your life for no good reason other then to chase someone with no real intention to PvP.


That's your high level PvP hero's, people that would never cut it in a scenario requiring reactions, movement or skill. Balls in your court GGG, you want PvP handi-capable or do you want it to be taken seriously? I don't care if I'm winning or finding ways around most of the stupidity, the fact I sit in queue for 30-45minutes while I do stuff around my house waiting for 1 match. Just to find its some tiny nutted troll that wants to run around drawing matches. Or the fact I can't melee as a melee character and instead have to play like a pussy against what should be a squishy archer,coc wander,caster who should never be able to just stand idle holding attack and fuck up my life if I stand infront of it in 1 hit,is hilarious to me.

But why is it any other caster that is decent dont have a problem with 2h

I want to ask (Hege ask this on twitch)HLD community. Were is ur posts? Why only 3 people post here Feedback? Do u lake balance on HLD? Or after HLD season u come to forum and cry about how bad is balanced pvp? Or may be u dont trust GGG and alphateam? Or may be u defend ur builds by silence?

what? i post feedback, in fact i was one of the first people to post in this thread. the HLD community doesn't watch my stream. few LLDers watch. Lot of ppl come in to QQ or talk crap. The other's are just loyal viewers or fans.

Lets look at a couple of things.
The PoE community are filled with elitists.
This game has a plethora amount of variables, mechanics, theorycrafted builds, items, gems etc.

A lot of the community do not support pvp. In fact, they take their time out of their day to hate it. Maybe people who post get caught in the crossfires. Maybe people don't want to post their opinions unless they are absolutely sure, or have a lot of experience on it.

The community tends to shit on people who are just new to the scene, or are unsure and don't want to look like a noob or get smashed by the people that do know.

I think this discourages a lot of people from posting feedback about HLD in general.
Maybe lead your feedback with your experience in HLD, then with your arguments.
Provide proof! (devs love to watch the video proof).
And lastly, as a community we can do our part as a community to be more constructive!

I was talking about molten shell !!

this is not about frost wall dmg, this is about use vs molten counter set of full elemental attacks like molten str and static str.
