Build of the Week: Kinetic Blast Wander

of course he's using wand for resistances.
Wand slinger looks fun I may end up trying one. I've almost always chosen melee.

GGG, this is a fantastic build but can we have a unique physical wand released of NON tier 1 or 2 rarity?

Phys wanders have always looked so cool, but it's almost absurdly expensive to purchase one(12+ ex in Standard for a similar wand to this build)

Even like a 210 damage phys wand, would make all the difference here.

I post this because the build of the weeks are very cool, and i, amongst others would love to do them, but the price range for weapons/rarity and niche use of the weapons are usually the limiting factor.

You add uniques to the game by asking yourself "what is the game missing?"

This is a great, simple and easy answer to what the game is missing.

The game is missing a 9.5 crit, 210 PDPS, 1.5 AS phys wand thats at least relatively common.

No, neither the rarity nor the price range of the weapons are the limiting factor. YOU and your expecations are the limiting factor. You don't want to try this build, you do want to play the build with OP items to be OP.
I for one are playing solo/selffound.
I'am using a similair build, my wand has 110 PDPS 1.3 APS 9.8 Crit.
And this build works perfectly, it's realy fun to play.

This is a great, simple and easy response.
This comment is pretty far below the line. And off the mark. My statements are accurate and stand.

Cool, I've made a CI variant for the scion from Hatree's version (He's posted in that original thread)

My CI Variant

Spoiler

I've been playing this spec for a few weeks now and it's become one of my favorite builds i have. Huge thanks to users Oos and Hartree for the guidance. Let me know if anyone has comments on my version of the build.

Contrary to Hatree's version, mine is a budget Scion variant (~8-13 ex for the build)

Thanks,
Danton

CI builds are notoriously gear dependent, Hatree's build claims to have 10k ES without the discipline aura. In my variant, I drop Hatred for Discipline to achieve 7.5k ES (Hatree recommends no lower than 7k ES for this build to function comfortably).

Single Target DPS is still the major flaw of this build. During boss fights i switch out GMP for Barrage and KB for PCoC, which makes single target somewhat doable. If anyone has comments on having better single target dps, i'm all ears :)

a Q20 Blood Rage is the only required Q20 Gem, as it provides us anywhere from 9-10% Life Leech. This is essential for sustain with Vaal Pact.

You'll notice i have a different CWDT setup and that i self-cast enduring cry. I prefer this method because spell echo on enduring cry guarantees us at least 2 endurance charges on cast. When facing tons of physical damage (or physical bursters like rhoas or leapers), simply cast enduring cry every time it's available for pseudo-physical immunity
