Im a bit confused about that "Ice Nova - Herald of Ice - EE - Stuff"

I got no ele dmg on gear but with linked Ice Nova while running HOI it feels like doing way less dmg than with other gem options.






rest is the usual stuff maligaros, rats, steps, saffels etc

I have a question about a dagger I just bought.
It's:

It has cold damage to spells.

Is it a problem for elemental equilibrium?
I want to be sure about that before multi modding it :)

I have also a ring equipped which gives me cold damage on attacks.

I'd like to talk about making a CoC cyclone build with more EHP than this build, but less DPS. As long as we can survive typical 1shots and instantly releech, we should never end up dying and having 50% less DPS should be irrelevant. I.e. 200k DPS and never dying is better than 800k with 1 death in every 10 maps.

For this purpose I think going life/es hybrid might be the best option.

I opened a thread to discuss this variant, and would appreciate your input.

Another question, with purity of light + fire and Saffel on I have 79/47/82 but with Rise of the Phoenix 83/75/78

Wouldn't it be better to use Phoenix ? (I understand that Saffel is necessary to max resistance, but I have better res with the phoenix). Is the block chance applied to spells that useful ?

Nope, not 2k ES, basically it would be 2.5k HP and 5-6k ES (5k with good gear, 6k with gfg gear).

Ofc we take ghost reaver to keep the ES up, and use a single life flask to keep HP up. The other flasks would be surgeons granite, ruby, topaz, saphire.

It looks like you didn't check out my thread but the tree I take is 77% life 203% ES, more %ES than your CI tree (and not L100). Though 100% res does sound appealing, but it won't work in -max maps and I bet you can still die before IC is procd to some bosses.

About crit chance by going hybrid you only miss on 75% from rats nest and 50% chance + 25% multi from Heartseeker.

So in the end it's a bit of DPS + Acro vs 3.5k EHP.

Anyone played since the patch came out? Curious to see how the gpu improvements for discharge help.
