Considering making this build/rerolling my scion with it. How will the build fare in 2.0? What gear and/or passive tree changes will be needed?

I have Legacy Saffels, Acuity, vagan dagger(craftable) and the jewelry can be managed. Only thing i lack is the Voll's Combo. 5L Protector + Devotion or 6L protector and Devotion later?

How would the 2.0 changes to the location of VP change the tree? Would you consider going a different direction (going through witch for AOE and spell crit nodes)

Well I respecced My Scion to try this build out. There's something I'm not getting, or doing, as I cannot level any longer. I am dying way too much. I stay now at 0% level 84, as soon as I get a few XP points, I m dying so they are gone.

I seem to be having the hardest time with strong solo characters, and Daily Tora has been impossible with the chaos poisoned grasshopper things. Die Die Die, I did a full Tora and counted about 8 deaths to finish the 1 boss grasshopper, and that was after I switched out to chaos flasks to sustain resists.

But back to the mechanics of this build...

I am about 1/2 way to enough to buy a Voll's ammy at the moment, and Elreon and Haku are still level 7, so crafting Multiple mods isn't an option yet either.

I don't understand how you are able to use the Haste gem, as I get a message that I don't have enough life? When would I use it anyway? With PoF, PoL, and Grace, I have 4 mana left, I'm sure that is hurting me somehow. I had been using a 20/20 Cyclone, but then realized I should be using a 1/20, so switched that out.

I die alot, my life pool is about 3600, mana 226. Soloing map bosses is difficult with cyclone, there is not much control over the movement so I am wasting alot of energy trying to. I think my crit chance is around 58% after auras right now, my resists are maxed at 85 80 84 respectively chaos is 0.

What am I not understanding or getting? What is Righteous fire for? When should I be using it? I have never played with the RF skill so not sure what to do with it.

You never really explained how to actually play the skills, or when to use them, only which ones we should be equipped with. I have not successfully completed any map above 70 yet without dieing at least once, mostly more.

My main question is with the vaal gems haste and grace, the normal haste and the RF gem. Then, why we should have flicker strike, and whirling blades. I did read that whirling blades is used alot for movement and travel outside of fights.
