With the 1.3.1 patch already here we already know that some builds have taken a good blow from the nerfhammer so we will definately not see them as much as we did in pvp s1.

The flask changes hurt a lot the puncture and ele ailment trappers
No legacy FB means no 1-2H K.O
Dmg nerfs and buffs to various skills mean that we might even see something different

We still need to see some nerfs to trigger stacking and full block or dodge/block builds, else this season will be dominated by sword+shield molten strikers.

What builds exactly took a big blow? for lld that is...

I dont see any significant balance changes.

I made it more clear for you. I dint say that the current state of balance is at the perfect point, but it was a good step.

Which I thought was a really cool and totally balanced build. Maybe not the part where cyclone insta-kills you, but a shield charge 1-shot was not that easy to pull off. Oh well...

On a related note, my season 2 builds all rely heavily on the "usual suspects" from season 1, which still seem to be working just fine. I have also seen a few cool new builds, though.

One thing that has been noticeably absent is any kind of summoner. Gear barrier too high / not worth it?

Cyclone is the primary reason facebreaker is so strong. Shield charge was strong but wasn't used by that many players because it was avoidable. I think most people haven't even tried to find counters against it. Cyclone on the other hand, every melee uses it because of the ridiculous damage and you just can't avoid getting hit by it even if you try to run away. Only thing that worked for me so far to get out is smoke mine, but you can only use it once, and then you are dead with the next cyclone (right after a flicker..).
