BOWS ARE SO OP </s>

I just slow u down with

and kill u with
anyway.. bow sucks
I think bows are okay in damage tbh, it's very respectable and many would argue that Point Blank traps are OP. The real problem stems from the kit available to melee users, namely Flicker Strike and Whirling Blades. These are pretty much spammable and can cover great distances without movement speed investment. This came up before as an issue, but it got lost in all the other crap floating around. Basically, we've done a good job scaling down the damage dealt by these two melee skills, but their utility is still off the charts. I don't mind WB as much, but Flicker needs a longer cooldown. As long as you keep WBing to stay in range (which is a huge range) and occasionally Temp Chain, you're bound to catch up using Flicker. The cooldown should be adjusted for PvP to make it less spammable.
Converting from phys is way more effective, you can make a good ele bow build with dope gear, dual heralds and a +1 arrows storm cloud.

But you need to have a pretty perfect setup to make that viable, phys has an easier entry level and a lower top end, I would say.

You must have never played as a bow build, the damage is only good if your opponent has no shield, no res, and crappy life and you have your skill 5l'd.

I'm running a 4l with 20q lmp to increase attack speed, and I don't think I've gotten a single kill on a decent opponent with it. And point blank is the only thing that makes traps worthwhile, which is the only thing that makes playing a bow build worthwhile.

I would be okay with point blank being unusable, if traps were even close to guaranteed to hit when you walked over them.

There would be no reason to play trap without point blank, because they're slower to use and cost more mana than a self fired version of the same skill, and without point blank they wouldn't even do more damage than self-fired.

I feel like if bows went vagan then crit user cast puncture would be formidable. as is bows are gonna go extinct next patch. Without bows as a threat we create an even bigger imbalance in LLD. Some builds feed on beating bowers for pts, some builds lose to bowers to stay in place. bad patch

There are no Vagan bows unfortunately. If there were, ele crit bow would be a thing.
Bows(especially more trap oriented) in current state stand fair chance against 1h + shield rt//2h rt. Other thing comes with bulids that are Ondars Guile - just poop jade flask and hunt for bowman for few seconds near immortality. Imo trap gem nerf is good move, nado shouldnt be nerfed. Another thing is docks area with stairs which is hilariously desyncy and i sometimes are 2 screens away when charging bowman. Just my few cents ;)
Nado needs a nerf for sure. If you don't believe me get BIS gear, stack all damage you can get from tree and shoot at your opponent with a 6l max damage setup. Then focus on your opponents health bar. If you concentrade you can see it dropping slightly after each shot. That needs to be fixed as soon as possible!
idk, when tornado shot hits it rips through my life, the problem is is that blink arrow avoids all the distance that makes bows powerful.
