It was something like 40 years that a then older lady kept asking American presidents for a day to give thanks to god, when coming out of the great depression, she finally got her wish. Australia is fine sure but it is a drop in the bucket money wise for the industry. Everyone knows that once they rip their national pride away from their rationale.

i think what charan was trying to tell you (albeit vaguely veiled in trollyness) is that the largest supporter of the game (him) is aussie and perhaps he knows more about how much money ggg makes from aussie supporters (i have no idea about this though). Also, the pet was available to be purchased because he let it be so and (and as i understand it, though i may be wrong) he wanted to give people the opportunity to buy his pet since im pretty sure a few people wanted to. making money was a perk for GGG. also kinda another way to buy a pet that is specifically aussie (like kiwi's) on Australia day. i dont know, im not a genius, but i feel like im at least getting closer to the point than 'its a drop in the bucket' and 'ggg only cares about making money' (read the damn post about why they wanted to create the game in the first place)

Would have been nice if GGG would have made an announcement in advance regarding a 24 hour sale.

I would have made the purchase myself.

Then again, with the short leagues and item imbalance (legacy system instead of global item change) on standard leagues, I'm probably not going to stick around and donate to Dungeon Fighter instead when that comes back.
