how about Corrupted/Loading-zone timer for farm fragments? i believe is linked on reddit and plenty of alpha members were using it..

That's not a hard thing to do even I do that everyone does that you simply count the frame time. It's how the system is because it must load the area's for the corrupted zones and such.

That's not even an exploit that's just being clever.

I really like that GGG is addressing the cheaters. Keep it clean.

Well, it's nice to get rid of the cheaters, but the zoom problem which is a problem for quite a lot of people is not addressed and most likely won't. As they said previously - the game is not meant to look good zoomed out more than it is, which is BS, I have played PoE since beta and I have used zoomhack around 90% of the time and I can say that the game looks fine if you zoom out 2-3 clicks further.
It might be fine for most people, but if you have a 17" display and you have to play on 1024 by 768, it just looks horrible and is almost unplayable as you will get offscreened all day long.
I am not trying to redeem "honor of the hackers", but it is still a factor and for as long as I won't be able to zoom out a bit further, I just won't play the game. Hopefully, I will be the only one and the game stays healthy on its playerbase.

17"?! You can't expect GGG to support 10 year old hardware.
When I kill a man he stays dead.
Great message. Firm, strong, but still pretty nice to not destroy people who were caught with it. Pretty lenient. But I'm really looking forward to a level playing field. Hopefully this kind of stance can be enforced on RMT, but probably not until PoE gets its own in game trading system outside of trade chat. I'd imagine they would want something like procurement within the game. I think I recall them mentioning something along those lines as well. I hope the guy that does run Procurement gets some credit or is brought on board with GGG. He's done some great work in the stead of GGG in terms of trading. He deserves a spot.

Frequently requested quality of life issues will be addressed, don't worry!

Given the uproar that's been going on in the forums and elsewhere the last few days, I honestly think this deserves more than a one-liner.

I'll admit I got warned today. I was expecting it. I have played around with the client hacks 'cuz they were there (never in races and I don't PvP). I play solo PvE almost exclusively. I buy points for mtx's at least once or twice a release. I'm sure I fall somewhere in the middle of the player base.

I support GGG preventing hacks that unlevel the playing field.

But at the end of all this, I don't really want to go back to a world without drop notifications (the second time an exalt dropped offscreen I was over it). Others don't want to go back to a world where particle effects drag their FPS to a crawl.

The fear in the community seems to be that "frequently requested quality of life issues will *not* be addressed" and I think that itself is what needs addressing here. How about a dev manifesto with some straight talk about what you are considering implementing?
So you allow macros but you don't allow macros?
Many Kappas

Do stores allow you to steal only 1 item but not 2 too?
More kappas
Ah, one more post.
I have a question.
Is there planned ingame alt-art or effects for alt-art ring demis? They don't have anything extra compared to their normal counterparts now.
ProjectPT was right.

That's over half the average online players (from steam at least). Must have been quite a shock for GGG.

A little less than 3.5% of players appear to be running cheats (prior to the warning).

How exactly would you have known this was the number prior to the changes you made to client?(that I assume made it easier/possible to monitor)

And if you were able to tell who and how many, what took so long if all you were going to do was provide a warning?

Better late than never.

Though that said, prevention (upgrading the archaic and insecure map seed system) would have been better than cure. It also remains to be seen how well your new anticheat keeps up with the evolving cheats, an area where larger and more experienced studios have generally fared poorly.

Regarding those long-overdue QOL improvements: A particle density slider, framerate limiter, weather disable ui checkbox and a moderate level of zoom control would be a good comprehensive start.

But four of the top 21 races on the season 10 ladder appear to have been disqualified. That's very troubling. ='[.]'=
