Miss the old artwork sockets/links/item color etc?

I do.
Started out playing PoE back in mid 2012, and I really miss the old look of item displays and such. Would love to see some of the old art reinstated as optional selection in the options screen.  Last bumped on Sep 17, 2016, 6:22:54 AM

I personally don't. They look like over-the-top designs, doesn't really fit the dark theme of the game, and kinda block the view of the 2D arts. Current one is great.
Overall, I think PoE graphic changes (aura, art, etc...) in the past few years are for the greater good, except rain and Cast on Crit, of course :D Also, did you notice

that active skill gem and support gem will have different arts when being put in a socket? It's a really subtle touch but I like it a lot.

The spokes on the outside of the sockets gave something other than colour alone to make the difference more visible to people with colour blindness. It would be cool to see the spokes added back into the design for that benefit.

Funny to see it back, but I have to disagree. Nostalgia is stronger than reason, just look at Diablo 2, so many keep telling themselves they would still play it, b***h please...

What I miss the most is having all gems appear the same.
Remember when you had to mouse over every dex support you had to find that faster attacks? Fun times. GGG plz, giz uz bak ol' gem grafiks. Many lewt.
Much desync. Such rewarding. Wow. According to forum mods "sandwich" is considered an offensive word. Who knew? |

The links/colors were better for sure.
I remember i was disappointed when they changed it. Never wrestle with a pig. You'll only get muddy, and the pig likes it!
