OOS Removed from pvp biggest mistake made

OOS Removed from pvp is the biggest mistake made with 1.3 update. With all the 1 shot builds, traps, stun, and general builds you cannot sacrifice your positioning against, it breaks the game.

Many many times I will whirling blades around the lvl and be out of combat for 15 seconds+ and get caught on a corner only to be 1 shot before the game resynchs. There is no manual resynch function to counter this. Many times I get killed by traps because my character is not synched with the server and the location of the traps differs on my client side. Any time I get stunned and run away I know I am probably dead because I am desynched. I blow all my flasks to desynch stun episodes.

OOS was not even close to perfect but its 10x better than the current broken state of resynch. The current mechanics of resynch give many other builds huge advantages over others. Its one thing for builds to be unbalanced but for the game to mechanically function better for some builds is game breaking.

I whirl around the corner, then flicker to this guy and attack.

I do no damage after 10 seconds of nonstop attacking and I realize I'm desynced and he's now firing nado shots at the corner I wb'd through.

I know I'm slowly dying but I literally have nothing that I can do about it.

And worst of all, GGG won't even say anything as to why /oos is disabled in PvP.
I still use my oos macro in pvp out of habbit lol.
If you were able to use /oos in pvp then your opponent would also get resynced resulting in a stuttering fight, which would be bad to watch.

believe me it was far better than being desynched out of combat multiple times for 10+ seconds at a time. Atleast with oos u can resynch while out of combat, and spam to resynch again after the cool down.

The solution is to give everyone their own oos with a lower cool down. This way one player cant spam it so often other players dont get a chance to oos as well.

I don't think you understood what i said. You should reread it!

When you type /oos the server doesn't differentiate between the players in the instance. Both of them get resynced. I hope you understand what that means with two players spaming that command in the same instance.

My guess is GGG disabled /oos so that they can promote the tournament with videos so that more people will join the pvp madness in the new season which will be on the challenge leagues.

havnt played pvp right now, because im a ladder player and ladder pvping isnt supported very well.
but i thought about a low lvl pvp start and so i found this topic

i think a /oos could be used against the opponent and isnt only a help against your own desync.
if u spam /oos it gets a delay and so youre able to spam it and take the opponent the sync chance. he trys to sync without a real sync and dies because he thought he synced the game.

anyway the sync problem has to be fixed and not the /oos command. OR they have to delete the fucking delay between the /oos commands, so you could sync whenever and how often you want.
completely agree! maybe add a 5 second cooldown on it to prevent it from being spammed?

5 second cool down and on top of it each player gets their own resynch which ofcourse is global. This would allow players to resynch out of combat and in combat as well.
