Riposte and Spell Block

Recently did tests regarding how the 3 counter gems work with spell block, and riposte isn't triggering while reckoning is.

Can we get GGG clarification whether or not riposte not working with spell block is intended?

I feel this is something that needs to be addressed. Its stupid how powerful Reckoning is even against spells while Riposte doesnt even proc from spells. This hinders especially dual wield builds massively.

Reckoning is the better gem by far also because the cooldown is only 0.4s while Riposte has 0,8s cd.

In a cyclone vs cyclone duel properly linked Reckoning is the gem that probably deals half of all damage done. Maybe 25% goes to Riposte and 25% to cyclone itself. This problem is of course smaller when there are less hits. Using multistrike is really bad at the moment too because of the low cooldowns of counter gems.
