Shadow - [2.0] Kinetic Blast Wander | Physical and Elemental | HC Viable [BOTW S4E6] - Forum

Giving this a go with an old Shadow that I hadn't respeced. I've never played a wand char, so I chose this to give it a try. Questions: Any reason the pierce nodes aren't used? Seems the added projectile damage as well as 40% chance to pierce is a no-brainer. Also, I'm having trouble with single target damage. Some map bosses and even some rares give me trouble sometimes. I'm using the power siphon suggested for that, but it doesn't seem to do very well. I've got only maybe 14k tooltip damage. I'll post my wand below, but it seems pretty decent. Any tips on dealing with this? IGN: Bahnzo <--- that should find me. He says in the gear section that a Carcass Jack can be used in Standard for faster map clearing. I plan on using one since I already have a 5-link one. Wow, I just spent 20 minutes replying to all you guys, and the forum bugged and ate my post. Aughdghjfgbsd I'll just quickly write stuff I can remember. Doryani's belt is always outclassed by a rare Rustic with %WED roll. Use Doryani's temporarily if it's cheap. bcutter your first belt and second wand are good. Carcass Jack is fun, use it if you want, defensive chests are prefered. Berserkpinus use the rare evasion chest it's insane. Bahnzo for single target your slow wand might be holding you back a little. Otherwise just try and kite bosses to walls or into other mobs and shotgun them with KB. Radagastt try buying an elemental wand level 40-50, shouldn't be too expensive. Without the beta wand Twizel leveling can be hard. Here's my Shadow's gear at level 68: I had all the gear in my stash except the wand and the Doryani's. I couldn't pass up the deal I got on the Doryani's, so I'll use it for a while. I obviously need to upgrade several slots, but I'm running 66 maps pretty fast with the gear above. (Ignore the gems in my boots and wand, those are being leveled along with gems in my secondary weapons. Eventually I might do a second CWDT curse set-up in the boots) I've spent practically nothing to get to 68, so if upgrades are a little expensive I really can't complain. As for your gear, I'm sure you mostly know what to upgrade. But make sure you 20% quality your wand first. Your jewelry and especially your amulet can be replaced easily.
