It's quite simple actually and you guys are perfectly aware of the real reason. They don't want to promote a league where people own stuff like perfect mirrored gear and legacy items and that's why HC got more events than STD.

If they finally balance HLD i wouldn't expect any HLD STD events AT ALL in the future. It's probably gonna be two pvp tournaments per seasons, first one focused on LLD at the beginning and second one focused on HLD at mid season. They'll trow a few bones to STD players but don't expect them to give you rewards.

The gear factor applies to every league, std or hc with or without legacy items, the guy that grinds the most is going to have the best gear no matter what. Everyone has access to every legacy item as far as i know, if you can't afford one it's not our problem. The biggest pvp community is on standard atm, saying there should not be any pvp events in standard when a lot of players invested so much time and currency over years to finally play HLD in standard would get screwed over because you sir can't stand legacy items is very ignorant and arrogant. Btw do you realize a ton of people have mirrored/legacy gear on HC ? nothing changes besides HC has less players. Like i said the same thing applies for new leagues, the one that is gonna grind more will drop GG items and will own more in pvp compared to the ones who barely grind, your arguments are all but valid, they make no sense.

Lol seriously you can just go F*** ******* for saying there should not be any STD events when all those people put so much effort into making builds, just proves you really dont give a shit about real competition and your pvp community.

Events should be spread evenly between every realm, period.

Hey i'm not complaining (i was playing STD HLD as well) just exposing facts (so tone done the qq plz).

If GGG want to do proper competitive pvp in an Arpg (wich is an idea that i find absolutly stupid. Pvp should stay as it was, a fun activity on the side), they have to take the same approch as they did with racing wich mean starting with a blank state in order to give everyone the same chances. STD is the trashbin of the game, they stated that many times, you just refuse to accept it.

But hey, no one is stoping you to stomp everyone in STD, they even gave you a shinny ladder to prove that you are the best :D

End game is end game man. End game is top gear, there is a low end a middle road and then the highest tier of players and gear. You have to unfortunately cater to all of them at the same time. LLD does a pretty good job of catering to the low end due to cost and accessibility, though even LLD gets pretty costly when you are min-maxing. Your next step would be level 40 and after that either put in the work or don't even bother. You can't expect to go into the end game pvp in shit gear and think you deserve a chance to win.

There is a place for everyone in pvp on this game. Just find where you belong and life will go on.

As I said, i'm perfectly fine with the way it is (i'm not even playing anything else than STD) but I can clearly see why there so few pvp events in STD and I don't expect much changes in the future.

I just counted, and it's 8-6 HC-Std, at least the way i count them. Like Burst races in PvE, back to back Blitz/FFA races are really just 1 race (2x20min). So there's a 33% imbalance, in the wrong direction, yeah. Then again, i don't think anyone was expecting a perfect schedule in Season 1. That's what feedback is for.

hege counted both EU and US

Simple, razer and karma koin or the sponsors won't fund the prizes in an imbalanced event. Lld/hardcore could fit their criteria of balance.

3v3 LLD Blitz as well. They are the most fun I've had so far in the pvp events.
