I game over to Path of Exiles from Diablo 3 where a guildie introduced the game to me. I fell deep into the game path, leveling aquiring items and soon leveled to 90 and soon needed better gear.
I played a lot, I had leved my Masters to levels 7-8, started a guild and wanted to help others. And as I invited others into the guild I was introduced to better leveling techniques and game knowledge. I had a good weapon I bought and other gears but after I bought Atziri's Acuity Vaal Gauntlets for 150ex my guildmate introduced me to the idea of item duping and suggested we could get rich and powerful. I used bad judgement and agreed to do it since he had most all his gear were mirrored items and was the player I was striving to be like legitmatley. But in the end I lost my gloves, lost myself honesty and wholesome gaming core values and felt real guilty when players, who were coming into the game and asking for help. Also another player I knew and farmed sacrifce frags all day just quit becasue he felt he could never get to the end game with items he needed as a legitimatle player. On 1/2/2015 I lent [Removed by Support] with his trading partner [Removed by support] in order to dupe my Atziri's Acuity Vaal Gauntlets , worth about 150-160 ex fair trading value, the item and sell them for profit in the forums and trading sites. They also ran a scam for FREE normal and Uber Atziri through my guild, though at the time I thought it was legit. I am sorry for my involment in this and hope we all pay the price for cheating. All of this was way over my head and I did not want to be a front for these guys so I am quitting the game in shame for my part. I can only take action against myself and remove myself from the game. The other two will continue but it's for you and them to take action, sorry. The site they guided me to was: [Removed by Support] This player recruited me, he's italian so I was trusting at first but he lured me into his schemes, through my greed and drive to have better gear and succeede. [Removed by Support] Now they use the Noticeboard for getting clients and use 3rd party voip to type in so to avoid writing in the game chat. They then sell the items for ingame gold and I was told then to real money gold site to sell the gold back into the game or items for real money. That is how I believe some players have so many uber mirrored items in the game, which may, as it happened to me, corrupt the game in so many ways. It was way over my head and I did not want to be a front for these guys. The PoE overlays and hack tools can reveal map data on your screen while being absent from data streamed on twitch (i.e. on twitch you stream your game client + webcam, not your desktop or other background programs - existing HUDs for PoE are background programs - it wont show up on the stream of your game client).
In other forums there are multiple 70+ page threads about this stuff, dating back 9 months in public areas and probably much longer with restricted access. Current poe cheats can: - reveal the entire map. - zoom out further. - remove light radius and illuminate everything. - disable particle effects. - auto flask at set time intervals or at various life thresholds. - auto exit at a set life threshold. - auto buff at set time intervals. - auto aura. - provide a DPS meter. - overlay icons on desired drops (6l, 6s, r-g-b, user set craft bases, etc). - play a custom sound when a unique drops. - overlay alerts for user set monster affixes (i.e. reflect). - notify you upon loading into a zone of the presence of exiles or strongboxes. - spam trade. - sort your stash. The threads that provide these cheats in the public area of just 1 website have hundreds of thousands of page views (collectively close to 1 million). That's likely just a fraction of total views, given other websites, languages, etc., suggesting widespread awareness (and, potentially, widespread use). So where are the mass bans? Are the bans being reserved just for the people who complain about the cheats? Never underestimate what the mod community can do for PoE if you sell an offline client.

" LOL, reminds me of the time I tried to dupe my SOJ in D2-a kind gentleman showed me the way...the old exploding corpse trick. This was in the beginning too when SOJ's were $$$. Well needless to say I saw the light real fast after that... Cheating is bad, its unfortunate most cheaters will never see justice...this applies to RL especially. At least you man up and repent. I would recommend donating whatever you have to guildmates affected and start anew. Maybe GGG can transfer your MTX to a new account? like ive been saying... why cant they just simply apply something to the client which whenever we login to the server it kicks us right off if we are using any of these cheating methods?
Other games have successfully did this and yes im sure people will eventually find a way around it like they do all things BUT that would certainly help with the issue and stop alot of it! I just dont see why more isnt done to prevent it at its source! I understand where GGG stands as far as Bans go... its F2P people can simply go make another account easily but if the actual problem itself is addressed then theres no need to waste their time reporting people and having them lose time looking into these reports that could be used to make more content! i mean from where i stand its a win win all round to look into doing something like this! and the RMT issue is an even bigger problem as far as im concerned to the health of this game! they just made changes to crafting because of an adverse effect on the economy so why not address an even bigger issue that hurts the economy! and RMT can be traced considering they can see everything we do and have at all times since everything in our game is saved server side not client side! apply something into the client to also flag unusual transactions so they can be looked into further to determine if they are legit or possible RMT transactions! although i also understand RMT can be a little more tricky to stop and EVERY game has this issue and as long as money rules all RMT will find a way im sure! thats more of a social and economic issue IRL! im just making suggestions to possible ways GGG could look into making the game even better than it already is while insuring it can also stay that way for years to come! these issues will only get worse the longer they continue and at this point things like racing competitively is just not possible while people not only cheat but do it right out in the open and laugh about it! and for me knowing these things are going on kinda pisses me off because it feels like having a country at the Olympics you KNOW for a fact is using steroids but no one will even drug test them!! and anything GGG works on to better the game and make it better for everyone who plays is NOT a waste of time as far as im concerned! \m/ There is a fine line between Consideration and Hesitation.
