I got 600 reg out of combat(without charges). My cyclone costs 109 mana/cast. If I use normal speed I lose minimal hp (means 6~ attacks /sec) With quicksilver I could kill myself with BM more or less (~8 attacks/sec)

Its not calculateable for me atm. It is more of a feeling. You can go Vaalpact and cyclone - BM and try to measure how many seconds you take to get from full life to 0 and then devide it.

Will do that ASAP on a standard char with reset points.

Would it be viable to run IC without CWDT linked? Perhaps to use it for those 'oh sht' moments.

Otherwise a great guide, always thought cyclone builds were stupid expensive. Having tons of fun with this one.

Of course. especially with ECoMS or for some boss encounters like trio, Selfcast IC is even better (altough you might want to take spellecho - End.Cry up)

Okay so a guy in another thread made some test with FA on palace dominus and without and his results are that it actually does increase his damage with FA on dominus. http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/933657/page/31

So what now? Is he lying? Maybe Cyclone has 2 sort of damage pulses, first when initially cast before spinning and second the attacks while swinging? If you get what I mean, maybe MS and AS both increases the damage.

No. The problem is, doing Cyclone with Movementspeed can be inconsistent. If you put your mouspointer to far away, if you need to dodge something, you name it.

In those cases, FA helps you out because you pulse faster.

Nontheless. If you recast Cyclone faster then you pulse, attackspeed is 100% wasted, fact.

If you get some attackspeed to accomodate the few instance where you dont lead your moispointer close to your character, do it. I find it to be a waste of points on the tree and on gear. You can get other things for it.

My Mara can do normal Atziri now without getting addphases (if lucky enough, sometimes she insta addphases after split). I got 31 attackspeed from the tree, which are incorporated in other usefull nodes and 16 fom my devoto. I got nearly a FA gem worth just passivley without speccing for it and it is more then enough.


Again, you can not test this properly. If you get your perfect Cyclone rota rolling around the boss with 7-8 cast / sec with quicksylver up you are a god. If you need to dodge shit all the time and move your cursor farther away and cyclone, you DPS drops.

Nevertheless, I can 2 man the whole apex with that spec with no problems at all.

Really liking this build so far. I've been trying to decide which chest piece to go for and I was hoping you could give some thoughts. Is it worth going Kaom's for the defensive aspect over a 6th gem slot? Is it difficult to do atziri without Kaom's? I've not found a build that can do atziri yet so that is what I am aiming for. Thanks for any help.

If you can 5l your weapon (which I highly suggest then), you can go with a Kaoms heart. I found that my last 4L goes mostly unused now anyways. Why bother activating vaal molten shell when you truck everything anyways.

If you have over 6k Life without Kaoms (which is achiveable), you can survive big Flameblasts with purity of fire at lvl 20 (80% fire res). (you can see this in my Atziri Vid, I got hit by a big one bc my fps sucks when i record).

If you can dodge all things (which is singlehandly the most important thing for atziri), you are fine with 5k+, so you have some leeway. I did my first atziri this league with 5,5k Life and 78 fire res and a 5l Cyclone and I was fine.

The trio is harder anyways IMHO. All Atziri is about is practise. DW if you waste your first 4-5 tries. I needed that long too when I first started Atziri. As soon as you know what to expect out of every fight it gets much easier. Feel free to post your gear here, ill take a look at it.
