Waiting too for the wipe. Tree is pretty much the same. Not too sure about the defensive links atm (4L lvl 20 CWDT with lvl 20 IC might still be good as a phys reflect/reflect counter).

Im not too certain about the endurence charges atm. Also not too sure if I want to give up melee damage on full life for fortify, esp. since you can get to 0% manacost with the new reduced mana and the tree AFAIK.

There are several thing I need to consider though, lets wait and see for the patch with the next wipe (esp. talking about jewels and off-links)

I was lucky enough to find a wind reaper and a friend give me that carcass so i decided to go for 6 lick and spend around 3 ex in fusing before i got the achievement i was pretty lucky :D.
But my dmg its not near your and i think i have some decent gear if you have the time to point me in the right direction to improve my char i'll be greatful. I'm still learning this game is very complex and i'm loving it so far.


The only thing you can improve on atm is the weapon. Might get expensive. A Atziris Disfavour to start isnt bad, but still is costly allready.

A rare Karui with an open suffix for Weapon range is not easy to find either (there are some for 20 ex out there so there is that option...)

After the next wipe, I'll give it a go and play around with some extra links, would be interesting to replace blood magic with reduced mana.

Nice guide and I like the layout :) I have a question, which is, is dual wielding doable? and when dual wielding do the instantaneous damage of cyclone deal damage with both weapons?

I tried it out with Wings of entropy and as far as I know, the first instant hit is from the mainhand and on the half spin it strikes with the offhand.

If you want to dualwield with cyclone, I'd rather do a attspd build (which are as viable as this one).

Please note that I am not 100% sure on dualwield cyclone mechanics though.

Okey, thanks for the advise :). Went in game and found a rare with corrupting blood(bleed on every HIT) and, as long as I wasn't spinning away, I always gained 2 bleed orb per tap of cyclone seemingly instant but the sound of hitting something was played twice. So seems that with dual wielding you must hit at least twice for one tap of cyclone.
This would mean that one would be needing to wield good one handers, which is fine, since i hope to have them with different implicit mods. Will use your nice guide as rough outline :)

For the weapon if we go rt and don't care for crit dmg and crit would using cage to craft gems in weapon are linked to lvl one blood magic?

You could use the Vagan craft for blood magic lvl 1. there are some problems with it though:

1st.) It is a prefix, so it possibly cuts your weapon damage (either no hybrid/flat/phys % roll)

2nd) Linking support gems. For a 4L it might be okey, but with a 5 or even 6l, you run out of support gems and your cyclone really gets costly (lvl 1 BM has a 240 multi)

3rd) No weaponrange craft

4th) even if sustainable, the 2 free slots would possibly be added fire and WED, which makes you really weak to ele reflect.
