Latest patch (0.10.0g), new microtransactions and other news!

I was hoping to see some clothing dyes or more skill effects, since I already bought my pet :)

***EDIT***

I hope the major patch will fix the act 3 map change crashes. I have quite a few characters sitting in the high 20's waiting to play act 3!!!

Just a big thank you for this awesome game, and for all the effort you guys and gals at GGG have put in to make it shine. As soon as I get a hold of my debit card, I will be happy to buy some stuff just for the sake of supporting this great game.

That feeling of being part of something amazing... It comes so rarely these days for me (higher standards for games I guess). And daydreaming and planning your build throughout your daily routine? It's been years.

So, you know. Keep it up you basterdz.
Say no to Shabby Jerkin.
Kind of disappointed in the micro transactions at the moment, not so about the pricing just the system in general, which seems to behind the pets at the moment. There needs to be products in the more exclusive range as there are simply players who would pay for that and as company it is best to cater all your customers.

I find the add effect, reclaim effect and calling out your pet system quite archaic. Made another post about how I envision the in game store looks.

Than the pet system is build up as follows:

Cheap:
Tiny / basic color model

Middle class:
Tiny / medium size/ small particle effect/ new color

Expensive:
Large / Big particle effects (fire, lightning etc.)

Understandable as the added particle effects might cost more effort to make and as such is more logical to price higher. However this system doesn't give a premium user the option to buy a certain pet premium without the effects. Vice versa those with a smaller budgets are excluded from particle effects.

The number 1 reason for me to not upgrade my CB supporter package was because I simply like the bronze kiwi way more than the silver one and the diamond kiwi. I only like the gold one if I had to upgrade/ change kiwi.

The biggest issue however is that premium doesn't make a certain pet exclusive. Now everyone can get a scorpion and with the current way the pets are classed the simple pet rather becomes the hobo pet. I see how that sometimes might be wanted to put pressure on people buying the more expensive version, but it also becomes rather tacky if that is how all pets in the future will be included. Just changing the color schemes and having a bazillion frogs on the store devalues the frog to me. A lot of products easily developed vs pet exclusivity.

With the far less lizard options (3) I hold the lizard in more value than the most expensive scorpion of which there are now 7 options.

I had rather preferred to see 3 premium scorpions: normal/ ebony / poison. Or the choice to choose from 3 pairs of premiums at the same price (why is there a difference, between lightning, poison and fire?).

TL;DR:

Adding tons of the same pet devalues that pet as an exclusive buy option. Everyone has a scorpion, yours just sparkles.

Making the sparkling options always the exclusive one devalues normal/ cheaper pets as the version classified as: " pssssh it does not sparkle."

Just my 2 cents, keep making exclusive and expensive content, but I do like to see a different approach to it.

This ^

There should be cheap sparkly pets from time to time, while the more expensive pets are completely different types of pets.

Also, I think the pricing needs to be changed a little. I don't see why the lightning scorpion is 200 points more than the acid, they should be considered the same pet with different variations, so they are the same price, and people can choose which of the 3 they like better without having to pay more. The same goes for the generic weapon glows, azure is 55 while crimson is 65, they are the same effect but just a different colour.
Good work! Nice improvements and of course that heart looks awesome :D

Nothing about the "not so ethic" points per price bundle ? Still disappointed.

On the other hand, good work with the bug fixing.
The only thing i hate bout Path of Exile is: I`ll have to celebrate my Buddy`s Birthday and cant play very much this weekend-.-

Ah i would be happy, if You Guys Add some different Payment Options for the Shop.
I have none Credit Card and i hate that other Concern ;)

So if u would add the "Paysafe-Card" as an Payment Option, i believe that there would be some more income for You!

I would really like to buy a Pet or some useless Effects, just to give u Guys what u deserve!

Your Game eats my Time and i simply love it!

They have already stated that the reason you get lower points per dollar at lower ranges, is because of the fees.

Seriously, the game is free, do you want them to incur loses simply so you can get 5 dollars worth instead of what, 4.80?

How about a bit of perspective please, these are people who have to earn a living.
