Question about Power Charges, im doing similar build to this and thinking could the Overcharged node work well?

I think I have fixed some of the issues. I have all the recommended flasks but why is my wise oak adding nothing.

I am going to changing for culling strike in a few hours. Already working towards level 21 arc. I've corrupted 6 with no luck so far.

I don't understand a lab enchant. I think I have missed something whilst doing labs.

Any recommended sceptre out there for 3ex?

Anything else you can think of.

Hi. I'm new to the game. A friend of mine recommended this build to me. Would you recommend any vaal variants of gems other than arc? I recently found a vaal cold snap and was wondering if i should use that instead of the normal version.

So, um, weird question.

If I load Enki's POB file, and change his sceptre with a Doryani's (edited to the one I have), he loses DPS.

If I edit Enki's sceptre into my POB, and change out my Doryani's... I lose DPS.

Anyone have thoughts as to what other things might be causing this? I think there's no point in dropping my Doryani's after all...

Lab Enchants are obtained through the device in the last room after killing Izaro. There's a ton of them for the helmet slot so it's very unlikely to get the desired one. Thanks. I have now managed to equal my Res and added cold damage to my jewel socket, which I didn't realise was only Magic. This is now taking full effect of Hypothermia now as well.

Buy Fragility jewels, you have 2 empty slots. Anh's shield is basicly useless without those jewels.
Buy Essence worm ring and put Wrath in it - it gives a lot of damage.
Buy Cerberus Limb sceptre with a good rolls (95-97%+ spell damage, 19-20% cast speed), it's better than your rare sceptre and it's cheap.
Buy Clear mind jewel with good rolls (57%+ spell damage) and turn off Clarity.
Get all the flasks that are recommended in the guide (You need your lightning resistance to be the highest for The wise oak flask).
Change your Goldrim for a rare helmet with life, resistances, and lab enchant (if you can afford it).
Get Stygian vise belt with HP and resistances (and maybe lightning/elemental damage, if you can afford it), extra abyss socket is very powerfull compare to all other belts.
All your other jewelry is bad too, you can find a better ring and amulet (remember, that one ring is gonna be Essence worm, so you need a lot of resistances on your second rare ring).
Get quality on all your arc support gems.

It's probably the cheapest upgrades you can do. Everything else is more expensive and it's too early to think about. Next is gonna be watcher's eye jewel with mana leech and lvl 21 arc gem

It's not, I tried it with you profile in POB, with Doryani its 349k shaper dps, with Enki's Sorrow Breaker its 416k shaper dps (both chill and shock).

Doryani is alway lower dps compare to 1c Cerberus Limb.

You can get a better sceptre
Something like that gives you +4.6% DPS (+22.5k DPS)


But the most powerfull mod is not penetration, it's "20% elemental damage as extra chaos damage"


It's pretty rare and hard to get. I spend more than 40ex on fossils to craft sceptres, and I got maybe 5-6 somewhat decent ones. But only one that is actually OP.
You can try to craft it yourself - metallic, prismatic, aetheric fossils in 3-socket resonator. You need item level 86 shaped sceptre for the chance to get tier 1 "extra chaos" mod.

Watcher's eye with 15% lightning penetration and mana leech (while affected by wrath) gives you a lot too, +12.5% DPS (+61k DPS). It's expensive - about 30ex.

The other option is to change your ahn's shield to a good dagger with cast speed and change your movement skill to whirling blades.

You can get a lot of damage this way (this dagger gives you 18.4% or 90k DPS) and two extra slots for jewels with +lightning damage to spells. But you lose 3% extra resistances from Ahn's shield

Yes but this was only to measure the dps, not really against shaper. I tick it because its how people measure dps these days. Even't not true dps output its purely to measure difference between a doryani and other Enki's scepter.
