Hi guys,
First time PoE player so I decided to start with Arc - This has been an excellent guide to help me understand all the game concepts so I really appreciate this Reached lvl95 and to a plateau - Especially on boss fights Below is the POB for my build, pretty much followed the guide word-by-word. However it's become really difficult in the boss fights. I have finished A3 Sirus but failed big time on higher Awakened levels. Also The Hidden fight was a disaster (I'm assuming mechanics though, still I could not last for 1 minute). https://pastebin.com/eGH73a0h Apart from the 2 Awakened gems remaining in the build; can you recommend any other improvements (major or minor) or any specific recommendations for endgame boss fights such as Hidden, Maven, Shaper, Elder - I am too scared to try Elder / Shaper fights xd Thanks!! |

Hello everyone!
Loving the build, got my first ever character to 95, and I am planning to squeeze everything I can out of this character. To accomplish that, however, I need to fix my mana issues first. Even without RF, I just don't have enough mana to cast my spells continuously. Arcane surge helps of course with these mana issues, but it's not always around. Without RF and Arcane Surge, the game shows I have 2k mana regen, while Enki's pastebin shows that he has 3,8k mana regen and with level 90, so 5 skill points less than I have atm. The question is how did he accomplish that? And what am I supposed to do to go in that direction as well. Here's my char's pastebin: https://pastebin.com/77gvL73j Any advice is appreciated! |

Your Shield needs "Recover 5% from max Mana when you Block" :)

" Go to the Configuration section and make sure your configuration values are aligned with Enki. Many elements of the build have mana regen activation that are conditional. Configuration options like "Are you stationary? Are you always on full life? Have you cast a spell recently? etc." are going to affect the mana regeneration value displayed. Here' my updated pastebin with all of the criteria taken into account(standing still, full hp etc.).
https://pastebin.com/B1AygtYV Now it shows that I should have 3k mana regen, but that's still not enough to sustain RF, and I have almost everything required, I only lack a shield with 5% recovery of mana when blocking(working on that atm) and a belt with mana recovery rate. And if I am not mistaken, Enki has stated in the FAQ section of the guide that I quote : "You should be able to once you have a Level 20 Summon Stone Golem, Cloak of Defiance, Atziri's Foible, Tempered Mind, Pure Talent and the Mana Regeneration boot enchantment." I have all of that, and yet my mana quickly disappears. I can deal some real damage with RF for sure, but only for 5 seconds or so, then I am out of mana for a while. |

" Equip a Tempered Mind jewel where Enki does. This will significantly speed up mana recovery. Are you doing the chaos recipe to help build some currency? I thought it was too much of a hassle until I dedicated two tabs to track it. I align vertically a shield, helmet, body. belt, gloves, and boots. I track 4 sets in a tab with the left over space for rings, amulets, and wands. As I pick up a gear that is not an upgrade I just slot it into the appropriate place. It is very easy for me to see when I have a complete set ready to vendor. This made a big difference for me this league. I am still learning myself so you will need to try some of this out in POB: - I don't think your jewel in the left of the tree does much. Attack speed does not apply to spells. I would use the two points to activate your small cluster jewel. - Your gear needs mana. You can buy 70+ life / 50+ mana boots for just a couple of chaos. You can use some jewelers and the crafting bench to get the sockets you need. - Same with your shield. For 10 chaos you could find a shield with 70 life, 50 mana, and resists. Might get some increased spell damage or mana regeneration as well. You did not write why you were stuck in white maps. Getting one shot? Having trouble with mana sustain? Having trouble with bosses? " Yeah sorry was in a rush. Feels like I can't do any damage, I know I gotta work on getting that one jewel, and a lot of the jewels I have right now are temp until I get the right ones. Worst comes to worst I'll play on another character until I can save up enough to fix up this build. |
