Hey all, can I get some advice on where to go with my character? I'm getting into T16 maps for the first time ever and I'm getting destroyed. (Specifically with Sirius influenced mobs.) If something even gets near me, I'm one-shot. I know my weapons are still subpar, they're the only thing I feel like are still bad. Also, I need to invest in getting some good enchants on my items, but just the thought of running lab over and over makes me very sad. So, I can't tell if my squishy-ness is a specific gear/passive tree problem or if I just need to get better at flask management/maintenance of buffs/knowledge of mobs.

95% of all the improvements you could possibly make are already listed a few times in the last 50 pages of this thread, so reading back a bit should give you some good ideas.

At first glance I've noticed the following things:

- Redo the start of your tree around the Witch to take the Intelligence nodes on the left side instead of the cast speed nodes.
This will make Tempered Mind more usuful + will free up points for more effective nodes
- Get a 'Pure Talent' jewel with corrupted blood immunity if you have the currency.
This will take care of death by bleeding, which is really annoying.
- Check if you still need the +30 strength and +30 dexterity nodes
- Get a Large Cluster Jewel with at least Disorienting Display and Scintillating Idea as notables. Especially the blind from Disorienting Display will help you survive.
- Get the Suffix 'Of Iron Skin' on your granite flask.
This will help you deal with physical damage.
Though be sure to play piano with your flasks, because the game is balanced around using your flasks all the time.
- Get 2 weapons with at least +100 mana on each.
- Get a Crown of the Inward Eye with a 21% roll.
- Use divine orbs on you Cloak of Defiance to get as close to 150 mana as possible.
- Get %mana quality on your amulet, and try to get an upgrade with more % increased mana (the other rolls are great)
- Get 20% quality on your support gems linked to Arc
- If you're having mana regen problems, consider going for a belt with %mana recovery on it (or/and a Watcher's Eye if you have the currency)
- get the 70% mana regen enchant on your boots

The following options are also possible, but deviate from Enki's build:
- Get Omeyocan boots and swap out the Onslaught flask for a Quartz Flask

- Get The Anima Stone for an extra golem; they get buffed like crazy wioth our Ascendancy
- Respec from Master of Destruction to Bastion of Elements for more surviveability
- get the Agnostic and swap your health flask for an Atziri's Promise

Only do this after you have immunity to corrupted blood though!

Almost every linked build here has a 21 vaal arc... Archmage doesn't work with vaal skills any more. It was changed 3 leagues back.
Your 4 link vaal arc does NOT scale with your mana. Get a 21 arc and use your currency on something else.
Quality on the gem is also wasted since you don't benefit from the shock chance with ele focus.

Indeed, I meself like a Divergent 21/23 Arc to have some extra damage on the 10 boss Maven Crucible.
Still trying to roll one though.

Vaal arc in this build mostly used for its Lucky buff for our regular Arc.

Though a little bit of extra damage now and then, plus a great spread for Legion is also nice.

But yeah. we don't have any use for quality on regular Arc. And Vaal Arcs without quality much-much cheaper.

Do most people here prefer Pure Talent over Healthy Mind? I'm thinking of swapping health mind out to get more survivability and mana regen. I can probably make up the damage loss when I'm done crafting another wand too.
Hey guys.. :)

Looks like I reached a wall.
I am fine with my equip in general, but there must be some more possibilities for dps or def somehwere.

When trying to keep my resistances capped and not losing out somehwere else, tradesites don*t give me many updates. (Especially on the wands, when I need trigger.. can*t find any with % to double damage for 2nd hand either)

So I assume I have to drop something else. Maybe crit on my second wand?
Get more out of my jewel socket in my belt?

Only thing obvious to me is a Watcher's eye with life before mana (clarity)... which I have.. plus buffed Wrath.. but I not having 35 spare Ex ;)

Any idea what give me a little boost?

As always:
thanks in advance,
Rick

Most people here take both.
In my witch setup I went for The Anima Stone instead of The Healthy Mind, but even more people just path to another jewel socket for that.
But Pure Talent is an auto-include atm for the extra dex and str + the flat mana regen.

Would it be worth my time to level the anomalous arc I just found? I know it's better that regular arc in this build. Or should I sell it and go strait for divergent?

You could look for a helmet enchant. (the arcane cloak buff or arc chains an additional time)
I kinda like getting good life and mana on the abyss jewel in the vise.
The gloves with 30% chance to refund mana are great as well.
You could also look to get/craft a good cerulean or vermillion ring over the coral ring.

For your wands, you do not need to look for the crafted parts. You could look for good wands and then put the craft on there yourself, or find someone who has the craft. Just make sure you have an open suffix for the trigger craft.

Going a bit more highend: A stygian vise with increased mana recovery rate on top of the usually good stats.

ah yeah... the helmet enhcant.. did I mention that I hate the lab? ;)
But yeah, you have a point... I am missing out there.
Maybe I should wait for a short lab, and dedicate a day to it ;)

Thanks for the tipps!
