Could someone take a quick look at my gear and suggest where to go next. On my short list is catalysts for my amulet and an wand upgrade.
Ran a few t16's last night and damage and survivability are certainly lacking
stats are currently 4.1k hp and 6.9k hp I see mentioned about reaching 10k mana, but when i look at my gear i already have t1 mana rolls in most slots so just wondering where the extra 3k mana will come from
I should mention i'm poor again after investing in cluster jewels
Crown of the Inward Eye, better rolls on the Cloak and Amulet. Catalysts on the Amulet. Healthy mind where you have your Pure Talent, move that to the left where you have an abyssal jewel. More mana on the wands.
Yeah I'd love someone to take a look at my gear as well. I'm at a brick wall on where to go with new gear.
Better roll and catalysts on the amulet. You want a different enchant on the Crown, see gear section in guide. You need a 70% mana regent enchant on the boots, consider getting Omeyocan boots. Get the new 30/30 gloves to help with mana sustain. Healthy Mind jewel due north of the starting point.
So, this isn't a question specifically about Arc, but related.
I'm trying to get the "Trigger a Socketed Spell when you use a Skill" recipe from Unveiling. From doing research, it's randomly on 1H and 2H weapons, three times before you get it on the bench. However, this is what I do not understand, on the PoE Wiki, it has the level required as 75, so I assume this means you can only get this option on monster level 75 or higher (which would be T8 maps or higher)? Am I understanding the veiled item system correctly?
hi guys! loving this build just reached lvcl 95 since i finally started learning how to play safe. Also I started the 5 golem thing it seems a big damage upgrade for just 1 less jewel.
I have got one burning question though, I hope somebody can awnser.
in the guide it says when you have "adds x-x to x-x ice/fire spell damage to spells" on your wand, that this can ruin the exposure applied by wave of conviction and mastermind of discord.
my question is: can the prefix "gain 5% of non-chaos damage as extra chaos damage" also screw up this exposure mechanic?
ive been running these expensive wands for a while now but they both have the chaos prefix!!

Wave of Conviction applies an elemental exposure.
Elemental is defined as either fire, cold or lightning damage so Chaos damage won't affect your exposure.
The reason flat added fire or cold damage can ruin your exposure setup is that Wave of Conviction is a a spell that deals damage based on your modifiers and applies exposure of the highest damage type.
It is possible that you added fire or cold damage could be the highest damage that is dealt by Wave of Conviction, since it converts 25% of its physical damage to lightning but we keep it at lvl 1.
It would take either a lot of % increased lightning damage or a source of added flat lightning damage to overcome that cold or fire damage.

You got it almost completely right.
It is indeed only possible to unveil that mod from items with an ilvl of 75 or higher. Those itemlevels start to drop from rare/unique monsters starting from T6 (monster lvl 73) though.
Rules for iLvl:
- Normal monsters drop items with a level equal to the monster level of the area.
- Magic monsters drop items with monster level +1.
- Rare and Unique Monsters drop items with monster level +2.

Not sure if this is accurate but I have long understood that the rolls on lightning spells can vary a lot, for example 5 to 130 but others such as cold or fire are more consistent with smaller swings, 20 to 40 for example, so if you get a good fire/cold roll and a bad lightning roll then your wave of conviction is horsed up.
The Lightning roll on this wand stinks but you can see that the ranges are very different.
Now even with a good lightning affix you can foresee it being lower than that fire roll quite often.

One note I'd add here is that the Syndicate folks are all Uniques, and you more often get veiled items from Syndicate folks, at least in the yellow maps...
