Hey, started the build and been having good fun with it. But i feel too squishy. Like really quickly getting popped by monsters. Not even bosses. Died about 16 times so far. Is it problem with not having max resistance? Or is my gear just trash? Any help/hints about where im doing wrong would be extremely appreciated.

Either make your characters public or link your gear (start a new thread, in edit mode, open your character, press ctrl+left mouse to link it in your post)

Right now we don't see anything from you, so can't help :)

Sorry didnt realize it was private. Changed it, should be visible now.

At your level you really need max resistances and should be able to get them with the crafting bench in hideout. Some of your gear is only magic, you can use a regal to get another mod on it or scour and alch to see what you get. You also need more mana on the gear.

Some notes on me playing this build the first time and grinding for level 95 in Mayhem:

2) A flask with "of the Heat" suffix is mandatory to not die to random freeze from boxes

With Essence Extraction if you pound your mana flask key you can get unfrozen.

I did some calculations in my head, and it looks like you don't have much resistance. You should aim to have lightning resistance either close to or at the cap. This is especially true since I'm guessing you've already defeated Kitava the first time, and have a -30% base resistance.

When I leveled, I tried to find gear to max resistances first. Then, I looked life and mana modifiers, and finally, spell damage in various forms. Energy shield helps a bit, and armor/evasion only help a tiny bit. Dexterity and intelligence aren't that useful, unless you need it to wear a piece of gear.

On the damage front, I was lucky to have found a 6-linked Tabula Rasa in Act 5, so that gave me enough damage. If you can manage to find or buy a cheap 5 or 6-link, that can carry you through most of the game.

Thanks for your help, I'll study your cluster setup.

You have a bunch of gems that you need to Vaal to get to 21, some will brick so you need to level up replacements in the event that they do.

I've tried to get a single level 21 gems since day 1 due to the Achievement involving them. So far I got none out of 30 gems 25 out of them went down of one level. I'll see if I can buy them instead but which gems really need to be Vaaled to 21? I've already Arc and Archmage at 21, Spell Echo is a placeholder for a future Awakened and Chain would get a better bonus by being corrupted to 23 Quality instead due to being an alternate, Same for Bone Offering and Wrath.
Are really Arcane Cloak, Sigil of Power, and a bunch of support gems worth the investment?

Edit: Keep practicing the fight, the more you are used to it the easier it is, he does the same stuff every fight and you can dodge a lot of it and learn when you need to really keep an eye on him so you can know what direction he teleported to.

It's really hard to dodge when you are killed but stuff you can't see or come from the other side of the map but alas, I'll try.

Are you dying and then dying again to the beam when you come back into the map or are you dying during the fight when the guy in the air casts stuff? If the latter then note that the screen flashes before he casts so as soon as you see that stop casting arc, move, and be ready to move again once you know what is coming in. If the former then your only hope is to not die because once you do when you come back in you are pretty much SOL if he casts the beam because it cannot be dodged unless you are close to him. The phase 1 beam can often be tanked with corrupted blood immunity, the phase 2 beam will still generally kill you, especially if you got hit by the whirly beams and have stacks on you.

I've decked out my gear and am now doing ~1.25m damage and surviving through T16 maps and bosses when I don't jump right in the middle of huge mobs. (I like the idea of Cinderswallow, mentioned a few posts back for those cases! I might try it)

That being said, I don't really see the value of the cluster jewels. I'm at level 90, and using my current build (POB Pastebin, Character link), I'm getting 1.28m DPS, 16k EHP, and 7k Mana.

When I switch to Enki's Cluster Jewel level 90 in the POB Tree tab, I get 1.17m DPS, 17.5k EHP, and 7.5k Mana, better chaos resistance, better block, and better flask duration. Overall, it seems like I trade off a bit of DPS for more survivability.

Is that it? Have any of you gone ahead and done that? Is it worth it?

Is there anything smart I can do with an Unnatural Instinct?
I just happened to drop one

Guys what is the deal with this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7HJroxaFjE

Just a guide I saw, and its way different to Enki's arc witch, well quit different, and im wondering how it compares. Seems like he does not value mana much in his build.

I don't recall what level I was when I switched to clusters but it was probably around 90, now at 98 (and with difficult to get gear), my witch does 4.3m DPS (I believe I have the POB settings correct) and I have good survivability. The only time I ever die is in 80%+ delirious maps, Simulacrum, or to and A8 boss like Sirus, Shaper, or Elder.

I have not done this before so not sure I did it correctly but here is a pastebin link, hopefully it works:
