Another question: Why not max quality of arc? Don't we want to shock?

If you can get a 21/20 Vaal Arc, go for it--the shock chance doesn't hurt. But it's a lot more expensive than a 21/20 Vaal Arc for not much benefit, since all of our crits apply shock anyway and we should be constantly critting.

Hey, love this build. It's really fun to play. Still a little squishy, though, but I guess I'll manage.

I'm LVL 84 in SSF at the moment and still in early maps. Now I found this 6-link armor:

Is it viable for the time being for this build?
First problem for me is the red socket, I guess, as in fact I've found an enhance support, but of course no empower gem. I put a life leech in there, but that doesn't look optimal. Any advice?

(I consider myself still pretty noob, so just tell me, if I should just drop this armor...)

That armor is totally fine for the moment for SSF early mapping. Put Inspiration Support into the red socket. (DPS boost won't show in tooltip until you cast it several times, FYI.)

You can also use the crafting bench to color the sockets, even though it's corrupted (just costs Vaal orbs in addition to chromatic orbs). Because it's a pure intelligence-based armor, if you keep trying to craft "has at least one blue socket", you'll hit 6 blue pretty quickly.

Eventually there is a ton of room for improvement, but that 6L will be better than any 5L you're likely to find in SSF.

Hi guys, just want to thank Enki for this build. The thing is that I dont know what more I can do with this build, I mean I die almost frequently and I feel the damage isnt quite good. If anyone could take a look at my gear and gem setup. I really do like the idea of this build and I use it since day 1 of delirium. Much thanks

Your profile is not public and so can't look at it.
Hi guys, just wondering when looking at the gems a majority have been corrupted at 20% are these corrupted by just feeding vaal orb into these, or should these be corrupted by the temple room? Thanks for any info you can provide

SO actually they are just corrupted. If you get a t3-Corruption Chamber you can double corrupt an item which means for us:
put a quality 20 lvl 20 arc in there.
Since it CAN double corrupt we maybe can get vaal arc lvl21 quality 20 out of it.
So for you, just a normal corrupt with vaal orb can maybe turn a lvl20 into a 21, or quality 23 or vaal arc... or unfortunatly turn it into lvl 19, quality 13 or just destroy it.
Hope i helped you

I corrupt 95% of items with vaal orbs, but I save the best items for the temple (because of the chance of double corruption) but the downside of the temple is that the item has a chance to completely disappear. (Have a backup item ready or be prepared to buy one if you get unlucky)

best Items, I mean things like Arc gem, awakened gems.
Other things I like to try corrupting in the temple are things like: Belts, jewels

I have never risked a 6link vaal regalia in there but some people like the big gambles.
