First off wanted to THANK YOU for this well written and super detailed guide. The leveling section alone was gold!
And to all the haters complaining it's obvious you didn't read the guide and just copied the PoB.
I read everything and still missed some details here and there.

Before this league I had no idea what to play. I wanted something ranged but not a bow build.
I was dead tired of Necro and the nerfs hepled me exclude it entirely.
Cyclone has always been my main stay but I wanted ranged.

And voila I found this guide - it's the most fun I've had in a long time. Yes I'm dying to Delirium sometimes and so did my golems. But after todays patch I haven't resummoned a golem at all.

I'm only 79 and just got a hold of a decent staff and now saving currency for a 6L chest for Arc. And I'm looking forward to see how this build goes down the road.

I don't find any info if I should upgrade the red gems? I upgrades the sand aura gem and my mana is almost 0 after doing so. Is that normal?

First off, great guide and build! Really enjoy playing it, and I don't usually play witch.

Just one question regarding Eldritch Battery, I can't see the pros for using it. True you can fully reserve my mana, and basically never run out of mana, but I cant see it winning over using it as an actual life shield.

But I can't really see the use of Eldritch Battery. Sure you can reserve all your mana for aura, and never run out of it.

But when I'm playing I find myself more in situations where I need that ES for my life. Even with Mind Over Matter, I never saw a situation where I got lower than half of my ES, while I'm fighting my ass off for the last 300 hp i got.

I got 4k life with 2.2k ES, dunno what's the reason or if I'm doing something wrong, and I would very much like your opinion. Thanks again!

So first of all normally I don't do forum posts but now I have to. Yeah enkie is right I played both arc witch last season and had to learn how to play around bosses. I'm now on lvl 60 and had no struggle at all. Did both labs easily without dying. For me it feels way less than a glassbottle if you know how to play.

Why do we need energy shield items because in our build we have the Eldrich Battery passive skill witch gives us energy shield to mana not to life and we don`t need it anymore...can somebody tell me pls?I have unlimited mana but now monsters kills me so fast because of that...

So how do we deal with bosses that resist elemental? I already have great items, and gloves with elemental weakness on them. Still the build sucks agains virtually any boss? what am I missing?

Energy shield protects mana
Mana protects life (or at least 30% of it)
