Ran UBER Lab to change my ascendancy to the new setup and of course got Ice Golem enchant on my helm. Is it worth to run Ice Golem over lightning because of the enchant? My gut says yes, but I already feel like my attack/cast speed is low.

Could try blind on golems, or something like CwDt + Phase Run.

It's a nice body armour, but the opportunity cost is missing out on lots of crit. If you feel you already don't crit consistently then go with that option instead.

Not enough sockets, not enough attack speed scaling and many people didn't use it in the first place.

Hey, playing on ps4 and having a hard time finding a shock on focus ring with assassin's mark. Any tips how to get shock on focus added to the crafting bench? Or just keep grinding Jun's missions?

Thank you, Enki, for making not only a fun and accessible build, but a great introduction to Path of Exile.
This guide, in its various iterations over the last years are truly a great work. I decided to post this mostly to show all of you that it is possible, although expensive, to run this build at the very endgame. Sure, there are better and cheaper builds out there, but it all comes down to playing what you enjoy. For me, this build is tremendous amounts of fun. Further, i do not think i would have been able to tinker with the skill tree and gear through PoB without this build and guide as a foundation. After learning a lot I'll be trying to make a build of my own in the future. Again, this would never have happened without a good introduction to this monstrosity of a game through a guide such as this one. It is greatly appreciated, Enki! I am currently running something in between the two setups for 3.9, with some adjustments of my own. Don't really have a lack of damage, so I chose not to use Storm Brand, but rather stay with 6-link golems while incorporating HoT for added dps. Chose to stick with leap slam as I actually enjoy the skill. Also running Controlled Destruction over Energy Leech, as I don't notice a difference in leech with 0,2% from the tree, and it seems like the higher DPS choice. Am i wrong here? Having put way too much currency into this build I'm currently close to 3M shaper DPS, with just shy of 8k eHP. To put this in different terms, lvl 83 Al-Hezmin dies before the snakes can spawn. I have all content down apart from uber Elder, as I'm currently learning the fight. Even though I'm not running chaos resist on gear I mostly die when I don't pay attention or slack off. There was a point in time where I doubted it would be possible for me to reach lvl 93, whereas I'm now considering pushing to 100. Just to be clear, I had good clear speed and no problems with bosses using gear around 10-15 ex. This level of investment is by no means needed.

I have been leaning away from while focussed affixes as I'm too lazy to press yet another button. As such, damage/burst potential should be quite a lot higher.

Overarching goals: Stay around 2.5-3M DPS while increasing survivability through HP, ES and more chaos resist.
- Upgrading Amulet, no longer need Life Leech after i took the time to find a decent Glorious Vanity. Will be using a Citrine base to reach exactly the needed 98 dex - Decent tailwind boots - Decent corruption on Three Dragons - Elemental reflect immunity on a Vaal Regalia for QoL and some more eHP - Better Fingerless Silk Gloves - Opal or Vermillion base rings - Socketed Skills deal 20% more Spell Damage on staff - Upgrading rare jewels - 3-affix Watcher's Eye and better Glorious Vanity - At some point I should try to optimize the skill tree Any suggestions, input, criticism or questions are more than welcome! " Whichever gives you the most eHP is the best; they're both pretty good. I'd guess Rage Keep, but it's easy enough to test. |

I just made this staff. What should i do next? I have no idea about crafting :< Multimod? Slam? I think that it's pretty good and dont want to broke it. Cheers! |

Build guide changed in some parts !!! Now BOSS dps is so poor. Great clear speed but lose all the time gained with bosses ect. Is it worth the currency to sort out??? Leveled another build faster and straight into higher level content.

" wazup! once again your build delivers :D probably the best guide ever made in terms of getting new players in to the game smoothly and wouldnt surprise me if you made literally thousands of players enjoy the game and get started in the world of PoE so to speak with the build over the years, I played PoE last in delve league and came back for Metamorph, back then I also played your build when we had inpulsa and ahns heritage shield and stat stick sceptres, was good times back then and its good times now too! anyway! i'm still using the previous soul tether version of the build, or at least a variation of it with some own choices here and there in gear/tree and golems and so on :P going good so far, level 97 very close to 98, killed all guardians, shaper, awakening level 7 sirus, mastermind etc all deathless now after some practice on the particular fight mechanics, and now just working on getting the last stones for awakening level 8 and getting to uber elder, as well as 36 challenges for the portal effect ! 32/36 now but should be there pretty soon, all with less than stellar gear! my gems cost more than my gear lol, and using cheap rings/gloves/no tailwind+elusive boots etc so there is a lot of upgrades left, t16 juiced up maps all day without any issues at all as well, so want to once again say thanks for the awesome guide and build, even tho im not using the current version and wont switch to it this league but might try it out next league, just because its going so well as it is so see no need in switching it up and replace all gear and tree etc just yet ! one thing I wanted to ask you though about weapon choice, since im still using duskdawn which has served me really well so far, im now looking to upgrade to a staff with much higher dps, but if possible I would like it to not rely on double damage while focussed but still be a big dps increase from duskdawn even when focus skill is not active/on cooldown, basically i'm interested in what would be the *best* possible staff in terms of dps that is not using double dmg when focussed, or rather one that is still a substantial dps increase over duskdawn even when focus skill is on cooldown, in other words :P its not a big issue having to press an extra button on singletargets but im just wondering kind of what would be the best possible staff mods possible other than the focus double damage one so to speak, there are so many combos of mods available that its kind of hard to test all combos one by one in pob to find the best etc, so having a example of the "ultimate" staff would be nice so I know what to work towards and save currency for :P the staves in your updated gear section, are those the best possible versions ? if so then I know what to get at least ! but if the staff could be even stronger than those examples then please let me know, thanks again for the great build and all the updates and new versions over the years, cheers for now and tnx again! |
