2. Is this build end game viable? Clear t14-16 including guardians, shaper and Uber elder?
I wont call myself a veteran player whatsoever (~700 hours of gametime) but farming T12-14 with a 5 link agnerod west right now, the maps themselves are done well and cleanly but the bossfights are really toughs, you can't slow down or freeze new bosses, golems are getting insta gibs by some mechanics like the cobra boss with poison damages, etc... To be honest, I clearly can't see that build "normally" clean Sirus without investing a lot of exalts into it.
But hey, looks like it's pretty much common and is likely the case for a majority of builds right now

I have this feeling too. Build is great for leveling, unlocking the atlas, and maps clears up to the very, very high end but I have a feeling bosses are going to be a pain. Good news is this build costs very little to get to high end maps so you can use it to farm tons of currency and then build a second character that focusses on boss killing, that's my plan so far.

You should start optimizing your setup. Use Meat Shield and your golems won't die that often. Also swap Added Lightning for Crit or Inspiration. Will give you much more damage.

When I said insta gibs, I meant that the golems are killed sub one sec by poison and desecrated zones, meat shield + minions life won't resolve the problem, but you're right that I should put em on the build anyway though

Hi, I'm starting the league with this build and I have some q, could you guys explain to me? follow the PoB tool the leech energy support doesn't increase my DPS and I've checked that with the Hypothermia Support it will increase my DPS but I don't understand why the Hypothermia Support increase DPS for the build?
Make sure you have this checked, otherwise energy leech will give you no damage.

Hey people, I'm new to PoE and I love this build so far.
I've got a few questions about it that I couldn't find in the guide itself.
First of all, I saw other people ask this, but nobody answered them, but why do we skill Assassination? If I read it correctly it's for physical crits only, because it's neither spell crit, not global crit. So the only benefit would be for leap slam, right? Is that really worth the 2 skillpoints?
Another thins is that I die a lot to physical damage, how do we mitigate that? I'm probably not using the fortify from leap slam to it's full potential, but is that really the only way to mitigate physical damage? Also I had a physical damage reflect map that killed me a few times thanks to leap slamming bigger groups. The guide mentions we should be immune to reflected damage, but the only immunity I could find was for spells, what am I missing here?
Anyway, thanks in advance.
I don't know where you guys are getting the idea that Assassination only gives melee crit.
There is nothing "melee" in there. It works with arc/bow skills and any other skill 100%.
Spoiler
For phys damage, make sure you are using chaos golem, he gives 8% phys dmg. reduction, I am totaling at 14% without fortify. The thing you are immune to is Ele reflect, from the Elementalist ascendancy .
I can't tell you how to get more phys. dmg reduction tho. Other than maybe using a Basalt or granite flask with 80-100% armor while flask effect on Granite. I'm not using Flame dash myself and the only things I truly have problems with is chaos damage, since chaos damage ignores your ES.
Well my assumption that it would be melee focussed is because there's other nodes that specify crit for spells or global crit chance, so it's easy to assume that if nothing is specified it might be for attacks only. Otherwise where's the difference between global crit chance and just crit chance?

I have Arc Skill on W and Leap Slam on E. While i am holding down W sometimes Leap Slam wont cast at all or suffering some king of delay. Of course i die. Does anyone else experience this? I am sure it is a build problem pre se but maybe you guys have an idea?
Are you sure it's not just a rollover issue with your keyboard? I have no problems leap slamming with Q while using Arc on my right mouse button.[/quote]
I am absolutely sure that is not the case, cause its just W and E on the keyboard. No difference when using arc on right mouse button.

Could be the extra delay through spell echo. Are you using pledge of hands? That would probably make it even worse, as someone else mentioned earlier in this thread.
Neihter i have the staff nor it works without spell echo gem any better.

The reason is: Spell crit is only for spells, melee crit is only for melee, crit is for everything.
What you want is a node that says: 20% to melee skills, spells, bows, staff, swords, wands, attacks, two handed weapons, daggers, claws crit chance and so on.
Putting all that into one node would just look weird. So GGG chose to just say 30% increased crit chance. Which makes the node work with literally anything.
