Great work again.

I used your 3.8 build in standard and this is my first time playing in a league (2nd char ever). And I was I little worried about this working with all the supped up bosses. But I was able to get a 6 socket - 5 linked staff and that made a world of difference.

I am only level 52 and my chest piece is only a 4-link but things are a lot easier now.

Also I liked how LW looked and didn't think I would like leap slam. But once you have a staff the look is bad ass. Flying up in the air and BAM. Also it seem a lot fast on react time. I think it is a cool choice for this build.

One question, how much can this build actual face tank? With the staff some of the staff nodes, I can pretty much tank most of the minor bosses and take pretty much no damage.

I mean we can leap and attack from a distance but it is so cool to leap in the middle of the pack and steelskin and start shooting out lighting. I was just wondering if that would work the higher the bosses get.

Thanks again for all the time you put in to this build. Again as a newbie it was pretty easy to follow and has worked out great so far.

One thing i couldn't find, what talent should we annoint?
Preferbly you could mention one that doesn't need golden oil as well!

This is a very well written build guide. I require more information for endgame crafting and optimizing.

When you say to vaal the Arc gems once they hit level 20, is that to get level 21, or to get the Vaal Arc gem?

I found a 'The Primordial Chain' and I think it looks perfect for this build, but I am unsure if I should sell it to get geared up, or wear it and buy gear piecemeal as per usual. Is it worth losing out on all the other amulet stats to wear?

to get them to LvL 21.. don´t forget to raise up the quality first.. after you Vaal them you can´t do it anymore

I'm having a really tough time picking a weapon for this.. I'm into red maps and I got a 5L Agnerod West and a 5L Pledge of Hands.

Pledge of Hands obviously does more damage but you get locked up for a LONG time making Metamorph stuff really dangerous, and even bosses in general harder.
An idea of mine was to remove the Spell Echo gem and add another gem.. Not sure how viable that would be but with double Spell Echo Arc feels super dangerous.

Agnerod West feels a lot smoother but it does less damage..


I haven't tried Duskdawn, is it stronger/weaker then any of these?

Am I stupid or something, but why did you pick Assassination node (on the right) in passive skill tree? It gives crit multiplier and global crit to melee from what I understand.

You'll have skill Focus after you equip any gear with crafted "when you focused.." affix.
