It would be hard for them to program in a system that does the partying for you. Not impossible but quite hard, which is why it does not exist yet.

I don't know how difficult it is from a technical point of view, but this is really the bare bones minimum you would expect from a game that's trying to push team based pvp.

How does the system work when you're queuing up for just regular 3v3s? I know I once managed to find a game with randoms.

Yeah it use to work because town queues were per instance not per gateway. Meaning if you got a 3v3 going, thats because 6 people are in the same instance. This is a requirement.

Next, it randomizes the teams but does not actually put you in a party because it didnt stat track.

With the new system, you can pvp from any instance, it is gateway based instead, which works great for 1v1s where the two players are not in a party. In order to queue with a party, you must be in the same instance so that everyone is properly teleported.

On the ladder, your team is registered as a team the moment you enter pvp as a 3 man team. IF people were to solo queue and meet random people, they would register as a new team but when the time to move on would come, they would not be sent together, at least not without partying with each other in the instance. If you were to dislike your team and try again for another random one, this new team would be a new entry in the ladder, starting from 0 points.

Again im not saying its impossible, its just a technical nightmare that is bound to be filled with bugs until programmers sit down and spend quite a bit of time on this. I think in the mean time, it is best to find random people via public parties or the events thread. Chris told me that all feedback and bugs will be addressed in hopes of significantly improving each pvp season.

This season can be seen as a beta test for future seasons if you'd like.

Why only the hardcore league got Open FFA Blitz games and standard only got stupid 3vs3 and CTF. Where are the FFA and Blitz for fun promised when they announced pvp ?

While a few events are swapped from week to week, in the end both gateways have exactly the same events AFAICT.

It would be pretty fun if you could queue solo and be put in random teams for a match, this might make some more balanced matches and crazy moments as well.

There are many great suggestions here as well. :) Mine pretty is the same lol.

3v3 has been my favorite event so far. I feel it allows for some plays to happen that make a difference, even with gear differences.

I have to disagree, it's funnier to play with those you know and familiar with their weaknesses and strengths, and you can together prepare and practise vs others. Sure if you wan't to take away the real competetive part because some new people can't compete with those who played pre 1.3, sure
It's hard to remember what you have forgotten

Why are police looking for missing people? None of them were missing last time I saw them

You think it's better than people not being able to play? lol

After a few matches those teams will most likely only be paired against each other.
