Interesting. This patch is Path of Nerfs, but the first one that actually didn't jack my characters.

Very good changes to the balance. Crit mult and flat damage mitigation/avoidance were out of control.

GGG just totally fucked any idea of endgame and high end builds. That is what the qq is about. Spend 1k ex in standar to feel "balanced". Aye GG GGG, WP.

I don't realy get the point of destroying the BEST pve ever for the stupid pvp... There are thousands of good pvp games out there.

It's not about discussing on one nerf or another, it's the impression of trying to fit all the game (3,5 years of the game) through the pvp filter...

And the lore: a hypergiant tower shield only blocks 1/4 of the attacks? Really???? No sense...

Who cares about pvp, if you want pvp go play pvp games but dont mess with my chilling time killing monsters...
I can't even feel anything towards poe anymore, I used to care about the changes etc but this is just comedy. I'm not even a fan of crit builds and never really had a high item level one, but even I can see that all you did was just nerf the builds/gear of people who spent 100s of hours putting that gear together to be godlike. And yet, the builds with tornado shot and flameblast, that required zero input, 0 aim or any sort of skill play or gear or preparation anything whatsoever, did not get nerfed. How is it not ok for you GGG to have an end game stat/mechanic that takes incredible amount of time to aquire, and yet to be OK with people using flameblast to power level characters, literally without even putting the skill points in flame blast - appropriate skill nodes, and still be able to outlevel anyone.

I just don't get it. You nerfed end game mechanics and stats, while keeping the stupidly op early game mechanics. I'm sorry I really just don't get you at this point, I understand you wanted to balance it out for pvp season, and allow for "more" builds to be viable in pvp since you think it'll help your consumer base, but seriously no one is playing poe for pvp. Nobody, again, nobody started playing poe for a pvp system. And nobody will keep playing poe for pvp system, it's just pure trash and impossible to truly balance pvp system in a game like poe. So please don't ruin pve for us, the reason we play this game, just so you can attempt to have a pvp system, it won't help your customer base, it will only make it worse.

This previous leagues have already been rather one sided in terms of builds, and we all saw that, vast majority of players were doing witches casters, or ranger tornado shot. That was already a signal for you that the game's deteriorating into diablo 3 where there are like i don't even know what, 5 builds or something that people use and that's it. This is what's happening to poe and its' the opposity of why we all started playing your game, you are forcing the game's balance into a specific few builds, that are easy for you to manage and balance, while taking away the fun of having a large variety of possible builds. You are genuinely killing what's making your game good, please stop.

Why did this game have to become about an opinion of a few elitist wanabe-positive-alike streamers who are using twitch to fuel their unsuccessful lives, forcing a great variety of possibilities into a mindless grind of boredom. This new leagues with this changes will be even worse, how many templar/witch flameblasters and tornado shot puncture shadow/ranger will there be now, from 40% to 70%?

Instead of giving us workable new uniques we can play with, you create trash niche items that can barely be used for a day and than you either outlevel it or realise it's just plain worse than meta uniques. How many gems do you have to nerf forcing people into playing with fewer choices. This game, at least to me, has never been about being forced into specific builds, it has always been about trying out different things, new combinations of skill gems. Yes sure there has always been "best" builds, but by nerfing so much you don't create variety. And that kill poe, it's your bread and butter, otherwise why should we play a terrible game engine with unstable server interaction, if we wanted to play a game where there are only a few playable builds, we'd play diablo 3, it's a LOT better optimized. And I understand perfectly well you have your issues with staff being based in new zealand and everything, but what you are doing is counter to everything that is good about you, please bring back the variety, don't just nerf everything out there in hope that it will balance things out, it won't, it'll only make it worse, give us a bigger choice, not smaller one.
