Wings of Entropy has 10% Block and NOT 15% >.< i think you mixed something up with dual wield base block chance of 15% :D

I've been here since closed beta and very rarely post on these or other forums. But Jesus Christ, what a horrible, horrible patch.
People were forced to use AA and block to have more freedom in their builds (not having to run ranged builds that one shot the entire screen). If you want to nerf block, start with where you get most of it in one go... Meaning change the max threshold people can get, or nerf the uniques. It's ridiculous to me that people can equip a shield and pop an Atziri flask and have max block. Nerf that flask - no need to destroy block builds and thus character individuality. It was impossible to reach max block just off a shield and passive nodes before if you don't use that flask or multiple uniques, and not everyone has those items lying stacked in their bank. Then you introduce all these fancy gimmicks like bleed off of melee attacks, onslaught with axes, charges with staff hits, culling off mace stuns. Before, you had to use complete passive builds and skill gems to come up with things like that. Now you tick off one node and are done with it. Even more character individualization goes out the window, and it pigeonholes people into specific weapon types more than before as well. Reduce accessibility of life again, nerf Cloak of Defiance, nerf Lightning Coil, nerf Acro, nerf evasion on shields... meanwhile one shot ranger fotm builds are untouched. But it's okay, because people were playing witch anyways and we gave templar insanely OP ele nodes, so it balances out, right? 2H Marauder got hit in his phys nodes as well. Rip. I've never been so baffled in my life, and I immediately regret having spent money in the recent Black Friday sale in anticipation of the new leagues. Not gonna waste my time in hc - I refuse to play fotm/uber builds or builds that rely on uniques. No to one shotting stuff - it's not fun. Not gonna be able to play standard either, since it looks like that's exactly what this patch was aimed at. My god. There are no words to express properly how stunned I am after reading this. The number of changes I see there and go "yeah, that makes sense, that gets me excited" is miniscule. And a filter function for stash tabs can't possibly offset that. Again, please, we need numbers! " These uniques were totally undesirable, and it was obvious just looking at their mods. Really, people keep saying that GGG as a global know what they do with their game, but these kind of things shows that sometimes they just are clueless. Come on, the Immortal Flesh unique was just crap, specially compared with other options. Finally we have something interesting " Holy shit. Did you guys even removed the more damage while moving? Another frenzy uber-nerf. I can't believe it. Now you converted an interesting mechanic skill into another "this does a bit more damage each level" skill... " That was a bug? It looked better O_o " While I agree that certain things needed some kind of rebalance, and crit now maybe is at a better point, damage mitigation nerfs aren't so welcome. We used CoD + AA/LC/max block not only becase it helped to survive but because the other kind of mitigation forms were crap. And those are still crap. Where is the armour rework? Where is the buff to survability for strenght (so marauder/duelist feels more tanky than other classes)? We need to create 10 threads per day about these things (like people did with crit) so you guys start doing something? If you want to make the endgame more difficult and not a cake-walk like it is right now for some builds, just make the +% quantity mod really affect the map outcome, so it is only possible to sustain a high level map pool playing with dangerous mods. Currently the game is way easier than ever because people sustain it just with blue/regal maps. But also it must come with better balance overall, if you play some mods you are helpless. Also, map mods should take into account combinations, like ele weakness + elemental damage. Or vulnerability + poison on hit. But there is one thing that I would like to comment (like I did months ago). We need positive changes as well. This patch have some (4-5 underused uniques now are *maybe* usable) but is not enough, not at all, specially in contrast with all those negative nerfs (huge nerfs). Positive = fun, Negative = disheartening. You are balancing your game numbers, but the feeling of most of your players (as comments shows) is going downhill at lightspeed. ♠RaGoN♦

wow this thread is just hysterical , i love crit builds i got acucity , my last 2 builds were coc and hegemony's critstaff . So WTF is wrong with you people? OH NOES GENERAL BALANCING OF GAME SO WE ALL DONT PLAY FUCKING COC BUILDS Q_Q im quitting this shit og og og GGG how dare u balance your game OMFG i spent 1000ex to make my superuber gamebreaking build NOW U NERF ME arrrrghhhhhh ... im looking forward to the huge buff on selfcast casters , the awesome new phys to lightning gem the most forgotten unique ever Immortal FLesh beeing revived into pretty nice mana regen or lowlife belt with blood magic to use it , it opens alot of possabilities from clarity replacement on low mana cost builds to all sorts of shit .
