i had an Arc crit with IR-MOM-EB, pretty much crushed things. it was only 12 points away from my main pathing. still used cloak, maybe that was a waste since i had the passive, but the mana regen was nice (arctic armor). it was the tankiest build i have made and it didnt have block. *shrug*

sorry if repeat question:

how many skill points are we going to have? just 27? 31 points as if you got all of them upto act 2? 34 as if you got all in act 3 and stayed under level 28?

they actually already mentioned they were all melee counter skills in an earlier post. you want ranged counter, you got tempest shield.

I thought it was ok. It just seemed to make sense for a physical-based explosion skill. But if it's not phys damage, at least initially, then they did it wrong.

I can asure you that I'm capable of striking someone with my bare fist.

Static Strike with Facebreakers or RIOT.

FB is perhaps the coolest unique in this game.


FB builds get something new, sorta. Lightning Facebreakers (physical to lightning gem).

Also, voltoxic just got crazier.

You realise the other 2 will work with a staff.


Yes, because if you're using staves for melee, you're obviously going to be stacking a tonne of dex so you can use Riposte effectively. This definitely synergizes with a strength-int type weapon.

As for vengeance... meh. A 'chance' to do a 360-degree AOE on block, in comparison to always performing an AOE on block, albeit a smaller one.

I'll wait to see what happens with the tree re-work, but this all seems to just make 2-handed melee builds even less attractive.
