How much ya wanna bet that the game checks to see if you have a rod in inventory, and prevents krillson from spawning if you do.

Knowing GGG I wouldn't want to take that bet

That Youtube vid said to "cast away" with the rod, so I guess it would be a spell gem that you have to use. Storm Call, perhaps?

So far i think u do nead a rod , must be either that paddle next to him u gotta click on or try basic attack holding shift above paddle , or some other water source on map , river bridge or what not
