Grim Misadventure #128: Ashen October
Crate Entertainment have released a trailer for the upcoming Ashes of Malmouth expansion. (Link) The expansion will be released on the 11th of October. Zantai reiterated the previously announced price of $17.99. GrimTools will be updated for the expansion this week. A small patch coming with the expansion will include some balance changes, adjustments to item drops, and a new renderer for better performance. The Game Guide has been updated. Edit: Ninja'd. :( Edit 2: Steam has the new achievements. Glad to see there is finally a release date. Besides coming out the day after Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, Grim Dawn will probably pick up in popularity again in the ARPG community until PoE brings out another new league somewhere at the end of the year.

Ashes of Malmouth xpac is finally out, well more like 2 hours ago. The base game is 70% off at GOG and Steam for like 2 days I think, for those who have not bought Grim Dawn yet. This is your chance to get the base game if you have been waiting for it to be heavily discounted.

Yeah, I saw it is like $8 USD. That is very cheap. I will personally wait for EP to go on sale (probably black friday sale or something like that). I haven't played GD much but it might pique my interest. Also I never buy EPs first day anyway. Once bitten twice shy.

The expansion is like 2nd in top sale in my region in steam (if this how it is done) and the base game is 6th in top sale (the heavy discount helped this a lot). Only Shadow of War beats out the expansion in sale and I am not surprised since it came out yesterday.

" I'm pretty sure the topsellers are listed by revenue and not by copies sold, which makes GD's position even more impressive. GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
