Hey ppl, just started using this build on warbands after i got tired of arc.
Just one question would anyone enlighten me with some math on why cold pen is worse than Cold to fire? I did some math on my own and i really feel that cold pen is stronger.

I've been using cold pen instead of added cold lately. With added cold, the monsters that take longer than usual to kill have cold resistance or ele resistance and in that time they might hit me. Also devourers have cold resistance and I need to kill them before they kill me lol.

It helps that my cold pen is 21/20 and linked with lvl 4 empower, though I suppose this makes my cold to fire gem less useful than if I used added cold.

Hey guys, maybe this was asked before but... has anybody tried the HC non-crit version? Or is it just theory?
If it has been done, can somebody post offence/defence screenshots? I like the HC CI build, but its kinda costly (or should I say, more costly :P) than life build. But then Ive tried non-crit one and it kinda... sucks. At least so far.

To those having mana problems, consider taking eldritch battery and ghost reaver. You won't leech life, but as it's miniscule already it will solve your mana problems by leeching to your ES (basically your new mana) allowing you to freely reserve 100% of your actual mana.

Not to mention your ES recharges when nothing hits you, and when everything is frozen that's quite often.

I've had the luck of finding a pledge in warbands which i managed to 6l, so i decided to try this build out. Still missing a Carcass Jack though..
I leveled using firestorm and flame totem, which worked great.
I must say it is a very fun build once you get the double cursing going.
Right now I am lvl 78 and sitting at 23k IN dps with full power charges.
