Is there a more extended version of the HC version of this? life/ci. I see the skill tree but there is little to explain about it other than use cloak of defiance. I would assume you would have to take away an aura then? Also if you still want to go crit could you do like 250% not 400% with high crit chance and still be safe with vaal pact?
Also new gem hypotherm or w.e it is gives a MORE multiplier to chill people. Seems like it would be very strong. Would you use it over something else or is it too much damage? I am lvl 43 in HC right now, I want to and plain to go crit. Its working great just need more facts from someone who has tested it. Im going cloak and Taryn's Shiver Maelström Staff off start I think just because pledge too much for me right now! |

" I tested CI before with 91 she_blitz character and playing it now in warbands as CI_Supernova. Gear is standard CI/crit gear I used a 680 ES Splendour chest. Vertex with 355 ES Rainbowstride boots Void bringer glove Eye of Chayula ammy for stun immunity etc had like 7900 ES and similar DPS but being CI "sponge build" I go life leech all the time in staff instead of empower. So 4% instant leech. I plan to rewrite this guide as I progress (just started warband yesterday cos I been busy getting all my builds/guides working again lol) but there is enough there. Tree, CI gear and same PoH with gems. IN> FC > CONC > ADD COLD > C2F > LL I'm a little nervous going crit nevertheless. Because you can't do enfeeble. Must have assassins to make crit work well. I will play with both CI crit and non crit. But CI is super tank just because almost 8K EHP. Cost is even more tho than life to have good ES so beware. Git R Dun! Guess it makes Lifeleech gem not necessary (i'll go for a 5 l PoH in Warbands). i don't mind dying a few times, just hate it to get insta gibbed all the time. i'm gonna invest abt 10 ex in the gear when i start (in about 2 weeks), so it should work fine 5l best option in PoH is IN / FC / CONC / ADD COLD / CTF , right ? (while using Kingsguard for extra healing) Cheers ! |

Kingsguard is not really lots of extra healing not like a discharger or something.
Main reason is armor, life, easy to roll colors, and cheap. A rare might even be better. But more expensive with resits maybe. But like when Immortal call goes off you get an instant 400 life wearing it because 4 endurance charges just went off. You can watch a few vids and determine how often that is or not. Useful nonetheless. The very best defensive life chest is lightning coil. its' 22.5% physical mitigation with 75% lightning resits. Like wearing 30K arnmor. Issue is color and making up -60 lightning resists. I spent 12EX in chroms to make my 4B2R lightning coil in Rampage. After rampage I decided it was overkill and wanted DPS of Jack. Now, with more damage mobs do, I went the dodge/atziri step angle and think it sufficient. I will say issue not wearing 6L with AOE gem or a 5L jack is AOE of lightning warp cursing. its low and that effects everything. Mana regen. Power charge gen. Life leech etc. so beware. " thanks for info, what about the new cold gem hypotherma or however it is spelled. Maybe that is a better choice if you are not crit to boost damage? Also do you think vaal pact life crit is possible or just too risky? Off the start of league it is hard to go CI cause of lack of gear and cost. I want to make this HC viable and first character viable :)! |
