wow that helmet huge ES. nice. I dont know about first time... DPS still low so you have to dodge and use flasks well at atziri because she will attack a lot. Generally atziri takes some practice I could with your gear but I done her 400x+.

Dont be afraid to face tank whole idea is sponge build meaning damage taken is instantly healed back by constant output damage. You just have to watch out for the big hits like vaal smash, many lighting calls, and flameblasts.

What is your opinion on Arctic breath vs Glacial Cascade?

No spell in the game beats GMP'd Arctic Breath on single target, not even close.


Not only that you only have to take it to lvl 20 for its full power. 20/20 not needed.

Glacial cascade has same problem as huge DPS flame surge can't GMP it so loses out to many spells. But they penetrate... But we dont care about pen on single targets so Arctic breath is GG.

Edit: Since I'm not so busy here at work I'll give example.

Pick any gem you want to supplement Glacial cascade vs the two gems AB + GMP, I choose high DPS Added chaos and look at this disparity. (all gems 20/20)


Glacial cascade AVG dam = 260 (10% for being 20/20) 1.1 + Added Chaos avg dam 181 (10% for being 20/20) 1.1 = 286 + 199 = 485 DPS

Arctic Breath Avg dam = 467.5 x GMP 5(.88 effectiveness) x 1.1 cast sp) = 2262 DPS!!

Arctic breath alone has almost as much DPS as two gems. x5? GG.


Also, keep in mind we get full benefit from any cold buffs on tree with Arctic breath while Cascade doesn't and added chaos doesn't so disparity gets even larger.

Could you possibly do a quick breakdown of the build progression (~lvl20, lvl 40, lvl 60, lvl 80, and final) for Witch? From like how you did it with the Shadow? I'm a little bit lost trying to just copy your lvl 92 tree for your Witch.

Witch is still good just shadow a little better like 3% more cast sp.

Anyway here is witch progression. Basically you want to make long runs around tree early when pts come fast. And take life along the way. DPS nodes kicks in later when pts come slow they feel really rewarding to get.

Some will depend on what you need. Dying? take more life. Just get a Pledge I'd go after those fat staff crit nodes as a reward. In general..

First of all thanks for this amazing build! I'm totally in love with this gameplay. Probably it will be my first lvl100.

I'm stuck at 25k dps without charges and appreciate advices to achieve at least 30k. I don't know if gems level will be sufficient to get 30k or more if possible.

Nice gear so quick, now its just little things 20/20 gems where applicable...Jack chest...min maxing and be at 40-42K power charged.

I'd get rid of added chaos stat for cold pen. way more real dps. Pen gems are most powerful in the game for real damage. Not to mention you need two green for AB swap (see math above how powerful AB GMP is) or watch 4 min all boss atziri vid.


Keep in mind when you see me @ 41K in this "safe" set up I'm about maxed running all 20/20 gems, lvl 93, over powered and +2 twinked 25 herald of Ice, etc. I could get better rings. like a crit rings with cast speed. But after that I need to give up life for more deeps like a doryani belt, like voidbringer which I am not will to do. I am very happy the power as is and will prolly just play it out to 100 too. I started this build in Rampage and just kept playing in STD cos I like it so much. Later once my added chaos and cold to fire gems are level I'll show 100K just for shits and giggles. Not safe to play that way IMO as I already talked about in "more DPS options" spoiler.
