Besides, Nexon itself isn't so bad. The American branch is a foamy sack of whale testicles when it comes to designing/monetizing F2P games but at least the Asian branches don't suck. And Vindictus is fun.

You do realize that Nexon America gets its things from Nexon Korea, right? It's the same crap, and the P2W system was imported from asian countries as well, seeing as P2W games don't do well in the U.S or other western countries (it's a cultural thing). Maplestory, when it was run by Wizet originally, was actually a true F2P game. Nexon then took over and added crap like miracle cubes that completely broke the game and made it P2W.

But yes, Karma Koin is not a branch of Nexon and is not associated with them in anyway other than acting as a middle-man for microtransactions.

Still gives the portal effect. Just bought a 10$ card online cuz outside scares me.
