Okay, try again setting it as public and then private (after zoning a few times), then I'll check what's actually happening.

wtf I stay online only 5 minutes at a time, I've gotten to the point where I dont' even trade anymore this game is starting to suck cause of this can't trade!

I set up my shop yesterday and it was apparently working since I've made a few trades but today it was quiet. I checked to see if my items were listed and they weren't, even with my forum thread bumped.
