Which MTX set is better?

Okay, this question is directed to people that have access to most MTX sets, mostly.

From your experience, which set looks best in the long run, between Elite/Seraph or Arcane, those who own both?

I'm mainly a Witch player, throwing in some Ranger and Templar and Scion over here and there and I'm curious about other people's experiences too first hand.

For example, do the female character have a female mask alongside the hood, for the Arcane? How does the set look in game, while playing with it, in their respective attack stances.

Why would you recommend one over the other?
I personally think the Arcane set is the best of these three. If you play a lot of templar, marauder type characters the heavy armor may be more attractive but in general I think the Arcane is better suited for witch characters and builds.

The elite and seraph sets are similar enough to each other that zoomed all the way out I dont see huge differences in look when you factor in auras and other gear.

Thanks for the info. I was curious because I don't want to purchase a set and then regret it after. I really don't mind Arcane on the fighter classes, I was just curious wether if the set looks good in game overall. I know there's basically no difference between Seraph and Elite in terms of design, but I prefer the Elite because of lack of glows.

They should really give the players a try option, to see how their character would look with the set, before making purchases.

I am asking because I am thinking of buying 1 set, + the Discipline and Clarity effects, since I want to support the game and get myself some goodies and pimp my character up, but I found it hard to decide between the two.
I have the same opinion as Fourist. Elite/Seraph is the best for Marauder. Arcane is better for witch.

I like the colors on Arcane set, but I don't like the skulls floating out.

I find that mixing and matching sets is the best way to go. Seraph armor is ugly and gaudy on everyone though. Arcane is nice but I never use the helmet because I don't like hoods.

I personally like full seraph, including the wings.

The best combo is:

Journeyman is my favorite armor bar none. I own elite, Arcane, and many others Journeyman just looks tight.

I personally like the elite set(green is one of my fav colours, so there is that incentive) over the seraph set. But aside from colours, they seem to similar to make a real difference.

Not a huge fan of the helm from the vamp set, it looks like a couple of cones strapped to a terrible mask. Otherwise, the rest looks like a dark knight armour, and makes for a good look if you get the right helm.

I love the arcane set on casters in general as it really sets the mood for a dark elemented caster, though as said before, the skulls are a bit odd on some builds.

I do not like the verdant set, but I'm not a druid type of guy. If you like druids, nature magic and the like the verdant, although somewhat dark, is a good set for that.

Masters sets really set the bar for good looking sets though. I personally LOVE the Apprentice set the most, as it makes most characters look like a ninja of sorts, and that works great with my flicker build.

The journeyman set is wonderful for any heavy armour styled build as its very menacing, and to be honest, it gives your char pants, which is nice. Aside from that, it kinda looks liek it was ripped right outta Dark Souls for design purposes. I like to take the helm off and put on my infernal skull on my RF build.

Masters armour is a bit too much formal or ceremonial armoured for me, so I dont use it much, and that helm is ghastly to me.

Speaking of ghastly helms, I despise that damn GMaster helm, though the armour set itself is glorious.I love to use that on most any melee based build, looking like a shining beacon of death to all my foes, and its majestic as fuck.

Blech, hate that helm, but I suppose with the seraph wings, it would look good to a degree. I just dont use the wings myself, but to each his own.
